It's not like they're influencing kids to go out and drink; they're just adding something you can throw your money at to make the game go weird for a while.

Wtf, If your son is either under 13 (which would then make you a bad parent, letting him play a teen rated game at an age where he cannot think for himself) or is very protected.
Does he run into your room with a knife saying "Daddy, I want to get the armor that you drop!"
Please

It's an intresting addition i'll give it that
anyone else realize your character runs a little funny after a few in addition to the screen funk? I think its pretty funny.

This sounds like an excelent gold sink! Well done ArenaNet!
However, I still don't think it will be enough to combat the inflation.
We need Hairdressing, Armour Customisation, NPC run Casinos... The list goes on.

Guild vs Guild betting. Do it horseracing style, and there's your gold sink right there, since 50% of the income goes directly to the sinkhole. You'd only be able to bet like perhaps 1000 or so max, so that no one would rig the match for no reason.

If there was a way to observe matches, I'd pay the "bank" 1000 gold just for that.... I like that idea a lot.... I guess they'd have to be on time delay though, or people would abuse teamspeak to recon info.

Actually I'm having second thoughts because some teams like to keep their builds a secret, though ultimately your going to need to change your stuff. But some top players might not like having the common people immitate them so fast.
