Yeah, farming still works fine for me, too, haven't noticed a difference. I don't farm much (it's rather boring for me), but I have no problem raking it in when I do.
Actually, it's not so much deciding I want to farm as it is wanting to see if my character is strong enough to solo tank a certain area yet. The drops are just a bonus. And usually pretty good ones.
