They were all minors, but that's ok. With my other character I sold 4 to the trader for around 400 gold each. They were vigor and some elemental ones... so I'm not sure if that's why they were getting a higher price from the trader or what...

There is some serious Charr action in pre-searing...majority of people will have no idea about how many charr there are. There are even level 10 bosses, 4 grouped together with a bunch of healers. I was a W/R and played with a W/E and we did a good job of pulling. But be prepared to die a lot!

Over the Wall quest. Instead of going straight to pick up the ranger, veer to the right. There is an immense amount of land to explore. The charr are numerous and deadly. Your best option is to pull a group at a time, even make them chase you back to the entrance where there is a healer who will protect you. They drop some decent loot. Even without the drops it's worth it to explore the new areas. I was a level 8 with a level 8 pet, and my partner was level 12. The Charr are level 8 with the aforementioned level 10 bosses. Lot's of healers as well, so be prepared before you go running at them..... There is no death penalty either!

Who stays round pre-searing to lvl 12 - they'd have to kill everything until they stopped recieving XP and THEN start doing the quests!

I'm in pre-sear on my alt character farming the catacombs for runes...and char for rares...I'm a lvl 11. You could fight those Char at the wall until you were a level 15 before they stopped giving XP...

I think I remember one Charr......a green one near to where Devona is, you have to go kill some Grawl with her and then you see her say something like "What's that Charr doing south of the wall" thats the only one I seen so far, I might explore that area over the wall with my new Character.

can you refresh my memory. which monster gives armor drops in catacs again. thx.

funny thing is they patched this lvl 15 thing, cuz ppl were actually doing it @ pre-sear where before it would crash their game if they reached or went over lvl 15 @ pre-sear. I guess it can be done. (since charrs are there)

Ya there's a shitload of char over the Northern Wall. You gotta go with a buddy....I like to solo them so I just give someone 400 or 500 gold to come with me and pull the lever and map out.

You gotta pull them and then run your ass off for the wall. Get them to chase you back and the Healer there won't let you die...and you got some guards to help you deal some damage. Great for EXP rares, runes & dye....it's also alot of fun soloing lvl 8 and 9 char

I'm working on a Nec/Mes....so I can mass attack and steal life from multiple targets at the same time...I literally just go through the catacombs and clear em out....I'll get a couple of dye(on a good day) and a few hundred gold in about 35-40 minutes.

newp. I farm catacombs for dyes and blue items. (i've even got a couple of max dmg wands and staffs). I farm the char for rune drops and purples
