Ok. So Basicaly we all know that the next update will feature PvP rewards. Apparently it is going to be awarded by Kills. Now what about priest map? get 2 farming teams facing eachother and they can farm each other as long as they DONT kill eachothers priest... They get kill points and tada! O_o Infinite easy kills o_O

Considering how long they've been testing the new system, I imagine that at least a couple of the testers involved have already suggested such an exploit to the ANet team.

My guess is that they'd probably stave off such efforts by having (a) points based on VICTORIES, rather than kills, for one thing (kill points is just asking for trouble, not just for people who suck like me, but also for Monks, who rarely kill anything in PvP), and/or (b) have any kill-based bonuses for unlocks taper off dramatically as a fight drags on.

Monsters that gets ressurected dont give drops after the first kill - I guess it's the same with players.

(At least that is what i remember from beta - go kill some shatter/flash gargoyles while leaving the ressurect gargoyles and find out.)

You get fewer XP for repeatedly killing the same person. So even if the points are rewarded for kills, they've got mechanics to reduce those points based on the number of times that person's been killed.

I dont think they will bother about the XP that much, as you don't get that much in PvP fights anyway. The rewards will go to the winning Team not to players who kill another play them lose as a team.
