something that will no doubt get mega complaints but would help alot is yet another trader. a weapons and mods trader.

then all those idiotic sales past 100K will not happen, as the trader wont sell higher than 100K.

this way, weapon prices will lower the same as rune prices did.

I actually prefer the lack of a weapons/mods trader (or if they do implement one, have him sell the mods with the lowest modifiers e.g. +20 fortitudes.) No, I am not a farmer, and definitely not a rich player. With the rune trader, weapons and mods are the last "rare" thing in the game. I take pride in being able to find a rare weapon, I don't want it to be something that can simply be bought. Besides, even with average gold, I can already buy near-perfect weapons and mods.

Would you like to buy a max dmg 15%>50 fellblade from an NPC trader for 100k?

And btw, if you don't want your items to be something that can be bought, then you are playing the wrong game. Last time I checked, the best armor is basically bought from crafter or collector, and so are some of the weapons with best mods.

That doesn't bother me at all, seeing as how I can already do that from players. I don't want max weapon prices to go down the crapper like rune prices did.

My items can be easily bought, I just don't want them to be near-worthless. And no, Guild Wars is a CORPG, not a COFPS. This isn't counterstrike.

the rare items are called rare for a reason. not so every player can have the exact the same max stats. in that case, you would totally take away the appeal of finding the "rare" item and be able to brag about it.

ok everyone whose talking about resetting needs to hush the people who have been playing this game die hard since april 27th dont deserve that i have been playing since betas and knew that my account would be wiped before release. rewiping accounts of all but charectors would cause 3 out of 4 to quit and pretty much everyone not to buy the game. i think that the gold for gambling is an awesome idea. i also believe if they can do 1k in the underworld they should do 1k for 1v1 pvp so freinds can fight each other 1 on 1.

another thing reseting would just be a big LEERRROOOY JENKINS on A.nets part

There's really too much complaining about stuff. It is one of the best mmorpgs ever. If people don't abuse it then it'd work properly. Obv I"m not naive and if you can abuse it then it will be abused. But the gambling thing, although it'll never be implemented, and keep it to that thread.

I am one of the poor people in the game. The most I've ever had was about 10k, and that's only because I was lucky enough to have a purple FDS in the first week of the game when everyone was wandering around gasping at Rurik's sword. We've got 2 uber rich people in the guild, but other than that, the rest of us are doing fine. But there's really too much whining for it to be healthy. Chill out!

Well, I think they are simply rare because the gold item 'rarely' drops. If there were such rare items that only a few persons attain, it would supposedly put the rest of the people at a disadvantage. People would complain that they lost the PvP/GvG match because of that 'weapon' and not 'skill/teamwork'.

There are several dozens of high-end weapons flowing through the economy with the same stats. Vampiric, for example. That shows you that there is no single uber-leet item in the game.

I do. At least, the way that undesirable ones (runes in this case, but weapons also) go way down, and the popular ones are still 50,000+.

Max weapon prices would remain high. Near-max would plummet. Just like runes.

Not ALL runes are dirt cheap, just the ones no one wants. The way it should be.
