Actually, that is a very good idea and must admit that hadn't crossed my mind.
At least that way people could see the cutscenes again and not have to worry about trying to get back to the cutscenes again with henchmen just to keep up with the story line.
Lets hope Anet give us a feature like that.

Instead of adding a chat box, why not just make it, so that if more then half the group wants to skip the cutscene, then, it skips the cutscene. I meen, if you really want to see it, do the mission again with henchmen.

No, that's not fair on anyone who hasn't seen the cutscene. Of course if I saw the team taking damage during a cutscene I would skip it, but otherwise, if I haven't seen it, I'm going to watch it, and that's my right to.
They just need to make it so that your party can't take damage during a cutscene.

I have no idea why there are so many different ideas to one problem when the outcome that seems to fit the majority of people is to simply eliminate the damage taken during cutscenes. One example I had was during the infusion runs - Our group was mobbed while talking to the seer. None of us had done the run yet so we didn't skip. Once the scene was completed we were all dead. It's simple to me - just stop damage during the scene.

Yes, that sounds fine, but what if you wanted to watch the cutscene and others didn't want to watch the cutscene?
The whole idea of these threads is to introduce new ideas that make sense as additions to the game, and I think adding the Cutscenes to a list so you can watch them afterwards, if you just wanted to get on with the game is a really good idea too.
Yes, cut out the possibility of dmg during cutscense, but being able to watch the scene afterwards also makes sense.
Just don't go around saying that you can't understand why there are all these ideas when one solution solves all, because you'll be flamed to death, it will piss you off, and no doubt, you'll end up pissing others off.
Just be lucky, I don't get pissed off easily.

someone mentioned this also as a guildhall money sink. Buy the cutscenes from a cinematics vendor in your guildhall...
Cool idea.

Yes, I like the idea of being able to watch the cutscene later. I still don't see why people get their panties in a twist about watching cutscenes though. It's like...2 minutes of your life? Why do people get so upset about it? If they take away the damage problem, I really don't see what the big issue is.

My issue with cutscences is that they don't bring my PET along. Everyone else comes along, but the PET stays dead or far far far behind. It's soooo annoying.
Devs, please Fix the PET/cutscene problem.

I honestly don't care about being flamed because it is the Internet after all. People get flamed all the time and if flaming offends someone then they shouldn't post but I digress...The ability to just eliminate the damage solves the damage problem. Trying to appease everyone doesn't work, we all know that. Hell just look at all the bitch and moan threads on this board. I do, however, like the ability to watch the scenes later, too.
And if you're going to quote me, at least get the response right as opposed to saying one solution solves all ...I said the solution of eliminating damage would appear to fit the majority of the community.

The cutscenes in general seems kind of buggy. There was this one time whe I was watching a fairly important, pivotal cutscene involving one of the more enigmatic characters in the game. Problem is, one of the rangers had his pet out so the during the WHOLE scene this giant Moa bird was strutting around on the screen making noise the whole time. It was funny but also distracting.
