So 8 hours goes by, i had nothing else too do. I just had a operation and cant leave the house even to go to work for a month. So 8 hours goes by and the rush is over. We get to my stash and i tell him i have some good news and some bad news. Bad news is i dont have the 200k, good news is i just saved a bunch of money on my caw insurance.

He gets mad and says hes gonna kill every one in his family and commit suicide so i leave any way.

Is this really my fault if they idiot didnt ask for money through each mission?

One guy in my city killed entire family today (5 youger brothers and sisters + mother and father) and then commited suicide by drinking 7/10 of liter of unleaded gas and setting himself to fire. I witnessed the whole scene (he did it in the park) and while he was choping them down he was screaming something like: YOU GIB 200 KA, YOU GIB BLEK DIEEEE! I tried to Healing Seed the children but it did not work. I even tried to Healing Breeze him while he was running around in flames but I only have 5 points in Healing Prayers so... I bet that flames had him degenerating for like -15 Health per second.

Ok, so some people are against this, and others are Strongly against this...

But i have got to say, "Holy crap, that's hillarious!"

Even if you didnt really do that, it gave me quite a laugh...

Side note:: Scamming is against the terms of agreement, and i do not endorse such actions. As such, i am not liable for any acts commited as such.

Hmmm seems like someone got grounded and got bored and decided to post an assinine thread. I liked my hobbies as a kid better than yours.

Made up or not, it's a terrible story. Shame on you and shame on your parents for doing such a lousy job raising you.

I hope you're banned for life, your car is towed and your girlfriend sees you for the rotten individual you are and shames you in public.

What would be funny is if the gamefaqs victim and this guy are the same person.

Wow, someone takes the internet too seriously.

It's a game. Nobody deserves death for ripping another person off. Get over it already, it happens left and right. Maybe a warning or a ban or something would be quite suitable, but seriously... death? How ignorant can you get?

And it's not just DEATH... it's the most painful death.

Get a life.

Shame on you for caring so much about a computer application.

This thread is a blatant cry for attention. For one thing, I doubt anyone was stupid enough to do what he describes. It's a made up story intended primarily to get a lot of negative attention. (unless he is idiotic enough to think people would give him a pat on the back for being an ass)

Either way, the only reason I'm posting this is because the thread is already bumped to the top of the forum. Let it die folks and don't feed the troll. From his behavior, you can assume one of three things is true.

1) he gets picked on a lot at school and is using stuff like this as an outlet. (least likely)

2) He picks on people a lot at school. (more likely)

3) Gets completely ignored by most and disliked by some, and the girl he has a crush on doesn't even know he exists so he does stuff like this just for that warm fuzzy feeling of knowing that people are aware he exists. (most likely of all)

Actually, I don't care about the game. I care about the personna behind the game. If this person is such a jerk in a -game- for Pete's Sake, he's got to be the playground bully IRL and wouldn't hesitate to perpetrate other nasty scams on unsuspecting individuals.

That said, don't lecture me, pal.

I must admit, pal, that I can be a complete jackass online. But my "online" and my "real life" personnas are quite diverse. People tend to be more vicious online because they can hide behind a computer screen. I'm completely different in real life, and I'm sure most of you are, also.

You can also see different personnas generate within the real world and online too, depending on your surrounding environment of peers.

That said, think over your last post.

This post made me laugh. Seems like you are the one taking the internet too seriously. I highly doubt that he really wanted the guy put to death....

As for the "caring so much about a computer application", you've completely missed the point and don't have a clue what's being said again. It's not about the computer application, it was about the act itself and the person.

Haha some of you guys are so funny. I just laughed when I read his post. The Geiko line was priceless

I think it's pretty sad that you guys take something that happened IN A GAME so seriously. Not to mention that it had absolutely NOTHING to do with you. Sure it was mean but under normal and intelligent circumstances, he shouldn't have even got a reply for the rush. Just goes to show what dangling a few bucks in front of somebody can do.
I suppose you guys report every guy who scams somebody at Beacon's Perch?

LOL! Uncle! I'm not here to battle you, Bob. Maybe it's just my 'old fashioned values' surfacing again. I try to behave the same way online that I do in real life. I try to treat people fairly, that's all. In fact, I'd venture to say that I treat strangers -better- online than I do IRL for the same thing you said: I can hide behind a computer screen and be relatively anonymous.

Now...peace, bro.

Oh...and I'm a girl..not that it probably matters but I'm so rarely called 'pal'.

No, Eet, you have no idea what's going on. The type of personality shown to a certain individual can vary greatly. I've scammed people before, not necessarily on guild wars, but on other games. But, it doesn't reflect my real life personality. Read my previous post, k? Thx.

Anie:

Sorry for addressing you as pal. Maybe Ms. Pal would be better? :P

Anyway... The way you react online is just your online personna. The majority of my friends online tend to act differently than in real life, that's where I conjured my theory, from personal experience. Maybe your online personna just matches your real life one? :P

And, my online personna is more harsh because I don't see the other people as "real". It's just a thing with me. They're not real people until I see them, physically meet them... You know? It's kinda like how some people say God doesn't exist, because there's no proof of him. Same sort of concept here.

I would like to point out that the idiot in question is not fully responsible for his idiocy, the system that created him is. The same applies to the scammer. Calling the idiot stupid doesn't make him any smarter.

And I love these "I'm so much better than everyone because I don't care what happens in a game" posts. Oh and what anyone has to say about anything doesn't have NOTHING to do with you either, yet you're here posting.

Meh, Bob. Now you're just trying to get a rise out of me since you're not even addressing what I posted and talking about something completely different.

And if you get your jollies scamming people and trying to get a reaction on the forums...well have fun with that. Maybe your "real life" persona will find some satisfaction someday.

Perhaps you should go outside more and meet real people - get your humanity reset to "normal".
