Well after i had decided to start playing guild wars after update (mainly pve char for unlocking stuff, upgrading)i started to like the new pvp system, i thought great i can make some points casually, just like i farmed, "casually".

Anyway, i start pvping and im noticing people ditching after they know they're team has lost, thus decling people theyre faction points.

now i know that +2 faction isnt a big deal but i mean cmon, just stay, would 5 secs to die kill you to stay in game , dance, take a pee,smoke,stretch,eat break.

my 2 cents on the matter just stay in game and let me collect my measley +2 pts!

That sounds pretty lame to me too.

Maybe there should be a reward for someone dropping (equivalent to a kill, even if they're already dead)?

But, on the flip side, I am pretty sure one gets +2 faction for killing pets (I think it happened for me before)...

And I do agree, it is annoying.

People droping right after you rez them was and shall remain far and away the most annoying part of people leaving as soon as they die.

I wonder what dropouts are thinking a lot of the time. Like those warriors who get to the fire area in Comp arenas, sprint through the lava without their team, die, and immedatly drop. Do they try again and keep doing the same thing?

That's ok...

first night after the faction and everyone in the arena tonight had draknar armor and uber weapons... and they were below level 10.

They should make faction only available on the 15 or higher arenas.

do you mean that people drop and so there are less to kill to gain faction points?

Or do you mean that your team drops? If your team drops... then... why do you not get faction points? I can count on my hand the amount of times I've PvP'd so far (looks exciting, just got to the Tomb of Primieval Kings yesterday

Please explain how droppers reduce your potential to gain faction...

I find that in PuG, the whimps log out of arena's if they die rather than supporting the team. This has happened in every match I have played in the competion arenas for the last 2 days. It is very very irk some, but they are also cutting their own noses of to spit there faces, why???
Yesterday when I played in the arena, it happened 4x to the group I was in, In fact the group had change completely by the 7th consceutive win.

Yes those that drop can actually do themselves out of Faction points as well as proving what a coward / irk some fool they are.
Just because you Die doesn't mean a match is lost.

For example: You're in 4v4 Team Arena, you kill 2 of the opposing members, and one you didn't kill just leaves. Remember, you don't get points for repeat kills. This happens often - tonight alone, about 7 times in 20some odd matches.

Ok, say im in team arena we drop the healer real fast, drop the meser, and the other two just ditch in mid fight thus denying your 4 pts, not alot of faction points, but ya know annoying, dont get me wrong im the first to leave when its 4 on 1 and im already dead and i know that my team lost but if im the last man standing, im not pushing F12, just let em kill me get pts then off to play again.I guess theyre pride gets hurt from losing or maybe they cant play their "uber build" right,droppers are lame thats all
