Black Dye
What's the big deal about black dye, anyhow? Why's is it in such demand or so bloody expensive? It's just black dye, after all.
Never could figure this out...

It's the rarity of the drops of dye that make it +/- in value. As with anything, the less it's seen, the more it's worth....unless it's a 45-RPM record from the 70s called "Disco Duck".

Well for one it's a rare dye so that boosts its price, and since ANET nerfed the bajeezus outa the drop rate for anything that also boosts the price also people like to dye thier armor which is cool yes but dying your armor doesnt make u any more super duper lol. Ive dyed my knights armor green and it looks very nice, and it only cost me like 120gp per dye which well is ALOT less than black dye.

no!! dont listen to them!!
the trick to gaining 20 more attribute points is as follows:
-buy 5 black dyes
-dye all your armor pieces black
-use 'dye remover' on each piece
-rinse and repeat
every time you finish this process, its an extra 20 attribute points!!

It didn't work... but I noticed a +1 to all my secondary attributes. Did they change this?

You know... I was in game (in a town) a couple weeks back and someone mentioned that... due to an inexplicable brain fart couldn't remember what (Alt+F4) did.
Being a rather curious sort, I was quickly reminded.
