I don't. The group voted/polled to go towards the armorer instead of the wailing lord. This ONE individual decides to have a temper tantrum over it and ruin the Fisuure run for the entire tham. If you have a temper tantrum like that on me when I'm monk'ing for your group, I guarandamntee you I carry Unyielding Aura. I'll turn it off on your @$$ and leave you where you fall. This is a game and it's meant to be fun. If you are going to act like a spoiled brat, I'm going to treat you like one. I will not let the gaming be ruined for an entire party just to satisfy one selfish churl.

To what address did you send them? And when? I will be happy to follow up. And, most importantly, how do you know nothing was done? I don't mean to seem aggressive, but you're throwing around a lot of unfounded comments here, and it's not appropriate or accurate.

How do you know they were not punished? We don't report back to those who submit a support ticket to us, our privacy policies prevent it. So how can you assert that nothing has been done? As someone who works on these matters every day, I'd sure like to understand how you can make such statements.
Just to let players know: We blocks accounts every hour of every day. We take the proofs submitted to us and we mute players, action accounts, remove unpleasant names, censor guild names, set suspensions of sometimes weeks at a time and even, sometimes, outright ban. We're not catching every single bad player, but we're definitely making a dent amongst the problem players, and we'll continue to do so, every day.

Thanks for the good work of you and your compadres, Gaile Gray. Just a little while ago, while waiting in the Temple of the Ages for the Fissure of Woe and Underworld areas to open up, I was experiencing tons of racism fly back and forth. Being a nice guy, I politely asked them to stop because no race or country deserves ill-founded hate-mongering of that magnitude. After this failed, I asked them to blame a ficticious or unrelated place to replace the areas and peoples that they blamed for their troubles; someone blaming Antarctica and the darn Penguins for beating them in the Hall of Heroes is a bit more pleasant than what they were currently saying. Even this simple request failed.
So, I took a screenshot and reported the whole district. This racism fuels up every time a team from America wins a battle in the HoH and only increases in fervor as we come closer to taking favor. I received the confirmation e-mail of the ticket instantly and went back to trying to find a group so we could go in as soon as we got favor - - I minimized the game and refreshed after a span of 2 minutes and a GM was already hot on the persuit of those in the screenshot.
ArenaNet is very much dedicated towards making this game suitable for everyone and I thank them for what they have done.

Those of us who have faith in AN and its employees knew this all along. That we, the community, are not privvy to these facts is....understandable. I'm not sure where people get the idea that you, the company, need to reveal every gory little detail to us. Sheesh.
Thanks for all you do both in front of the virtual cameras and behind them.

trust me, a gold item in fow will fetch you well over 100k if you got the right thing, once i found a rare chaos axe and it dropped for me, sold that baby for 350k ^^ if i was in the monks shoes, i would do the exact same thing, trust me, you would to, how can you not resist 300k on the floor?

I have to agree, with all the drops nerfing I would do the same.
Mind you that is because of the nerf, before I had no problem in letting loot I could not use being unassigned and someone that want it pick it up since I could always go back for more but now ...

thats why I play mostly with my guild members or with henches too many nastys who try to screw up the missions etc
if a player gets bad I just tell team not to res him let him go rest of mission might have to put up with his silly drawings on mini map
and have a dance on him about the only time u will see my chars dance but he would rush in and aggro 3 groups etc so was really bad
team had a good laugh and we moved on better off as a team without him

Yes, to harass and to get your whole guild to do it?
Juvenile to say the least. I wouldn't quite say it deserves a banning but a few character wipes wouldn't be too bad

Publicly flogging this guy solves nothing. Put him on ignore and move on with life. He just has nothing better to do than grief. I've had crap said and done to me in the game as well but like I always say, its a game and its not worth losing sleep over.

Had my first really bad experience with a PuG last night in FoW. This guy was a culmination of every horror story I've ever read on here regarding grouping with strangers. The summary is that he was asked 4 or 5 times by various party members to stop pulling mobs as we already had an assigned target caller but he refused to listen. Then he started threatening with "Don't make me mad or you'll be sorry, I'll kill the whole group".. well that was enough to get me laughing. He tried to train a bunch of stuff on the party but the mobs wouldn't follow him far enough back, and he kept stopping to heal.. so I helped him by pursuing those mobs and pulling them back to him in the hopes that he would die and leave the party. After he died we refused to res him and went on with our game. We stayed in FoW for about 2 hours and he stayed in the group the ENTIRE time - pinging & scribbling all over the map and spamming the chat window.. to the point that it was hard to see the upcoming mobs. He also became verbally abusive and started cursing in the chat window so I took lots of nice screencaps and promptly sent them off to GW Support.
Apparently there was another guy from the offender's guild in our group because after we finally died in FoW we popped back into the Temple and the offender disappeared.. about 5 seconds later another character popped into our group (invited by the other party member who was part of the original offender's guild).. I am not sure why this other guy ended up being the party leader because I am the one who started the original party.. but basically he let the jerk back into the group under a different name and then he vanished. So we picked up a couple of monks and went to UW. As soon as I had paid and we zoned into UW the guy (hiding under his alt) starts cursing again and threatening to ban our accounts unless we pay him 3k.. on & on, so I just mapped out and sent those screencaps to GW Support as well. The guy started pm'ing me and I simply told him he had been reported and was now getting put on my ignore list.
I just couldn't believe some total loser would have nothing better to do for 2 hours than grief our game. Apparently this guy is in one of the large guilds but if his buddies start bothering me I'll screencap them too. I refuse to put up with junk like this during the limited amount of time I have for gameplay. I know its against policy for me to post his name & his alts but I have no problem giving you his name privately.. this guy is a Really big jerk.

You guys are both erm... dingleberries.
And trying to hang it all on "the nerf", Drakron? How pathetic. That's as dumb as someone attempting to justify warezing things because they can't be bothered to earn the money to buy it in the first place.
The only thing of any actual worth in this game is the enjoyment people get out of playing it, and you guys think that somehow you're entitled to spoil that for others simply because items are "valuable"?? Dingleberries.
You'd both be crying to your wet-nurses in a second if the same thing happened to you though.

Bingley Joe: While I love the term you've used to describe a couple others on this forum...try to come up with something a little less....acerbic. We don't need an otherwise entertaining discussion to turn into another flame war. Got enough of those as is.

LOL. By that logic a certain dictator wouldn't be as big of a player in history as he is now.
Yeah this guy probably wants this attention BTW. How many times has this sort of thing happend to you though. I'm guessing maybe some of the first times ever cause your taking this way out of proportion. Let him get away with something like that and let someone else (hopefully in real-life) do the dirty work for you. All this time spent posting these messages could have been time spent back in FoW with those other good players on your list. You'll never ever get rid of people like this with a simple 2 hour banning or muting. Don't lose any sleep over this guy.

You guys keep talking to me as though I'm still actually worried about this. Have you checked the time stamp of my last post in this topic?
This subject is ye olde. Let Anet deal with it. I'm over it.
