Last update killed another fun aspect of game?
The so called *equipment exploit* they closed during the last update....
Did it also screw around with refund points? Up untill a day or two ago your refund points would be reset to 24 of 24 any time you go and switch your secondary back and forth. And now it doesn't do that anymore.
To me that's not an exploit. I was having a lot of fun with my character running around, trying out different skills and hunting for each proffesions elite skills... Since I can no longer reset my refund points I'm not longer able to experiment with different skills and magic schools.. Unless I go hunt and then get them back slowly per each 250Xp earned....
So much for that.... Hey thanks for screwing up yet another fun aspect of the game.

I think that was changed long ago. Back around the time of the mirror fight XP exploit.

Drop the attitude, sunshine. This was... "fixed" some time ago, granted, but it's a legitimate complaint.

too true, you could probably get this back in 10 minutes of work, if you take on tough mobs.

I dont get why refund points even exist. All it does is hinder people. I mean, the only thing it can do is prevent people from changing builds quickly. I dont want to grind 6,000xp in order to change my build. Just get rid of refund points and freeze attributes in battle.

Freezing attributes in battle and allowing unlimited refund points outside of battle would be a great solution. How often do you change attributes mid-battle anyways? Definitely far less than you switch around attributes out of battle.

250xp is nothing, untill you realize its 6,000xp to use all your refund points. On average, you may change half your attributes, which is 3,000xp. For me, thats at least a missions worth of killing. Another way to look at it is this, you get about 20xp per kill at level 20 on the average monsters, so have fun killing 300 monsters

well, then do a mission.. if your done it, then help someone do it (free of charge, because only jerks cost money) and then you will be on your way... or just find a quest you havent done, 6000xp is only a lot if you make it a lot...

If I were you guys I'd even be thankful you can refund points in this game. If not then I'd probably would have made and deleted 100 characters by now.

It still works, albeit not like it used to. Switching your secondary refunds you all the attribute points you spent on any secondary attributes instantly, at no cost.

My thoughts exactly. Several times I've gone "Damnit if only I had...hey wait a minute, I forgot refund points were there." It basically allows you to change what you do with a character. For example, my monk has been a healing monk, smiting monk, and now a protection monk. It allows you to try different things using the same character.

i have to agree, refund points for your attributes is annoyed. I know it don't take much exp (250 to get one points back) but it really kill the fun for people to experiment with there attributes points. For example, my W/E. I put 10 on strength, 11 on hammer, 5 on tactics, and 9 on fire magic. But since the refund points is in effect, i can't move any of these points around to say change my elementlist attack to earth, water or something else. or to put all 11 points on swords or axe.

It should be that you can only change attributes in town just like skills (you could still raise them in Missions If you had extra points) and get rid of the refund points altogether
