Henchies are okay sometimes. But I think the fact that they always attack the same thing you do is their biggest downfall since in some cases you need to keep other enemies occupied while a few of you focus on the high priority target.
The more I read posts in these types of threads the more confidence I get in random people. Not all random people though. Mainly the people that are posting in these threads. I think next time I advertise for a group I'll add "LFG subscribers of GWGuru only please." Then you can get thier online name from here and see what they are posting. Might take a little longer to get a group but you would most likely end up with a much better PUG this way.
So far though I've just done all the missions with 2 people, me and my monk guildmate buddy. So I pretty much never advertise LFG.
Besides the less people you take the more drops you get and the more challenging the missions are. which = more fun in my mind. :>

Am I alone with the feeling that german servers are much more crowded with griefers, whiners and people with lack of respect, behaviour and self-control, than the rest? Somehow a good reflection of the current miseries amongst our youth and the general mentality of stubbornness. Generally though I never leave any group. It's a matter of setting examples.

I knew it was a mistake, updating my gwguru profile by adding my location.
People look at it and pretend to know you and what kind of a person you are.

hmm..I didn't even see that as a post toward you. I always figured you to be a decent person with a considerate brain on your shoulders.
I would share a good Geman Beer with you anytime.

I would hazzard a guess that there are a lot of whiners, griefers and rude people on ALL servers. Never having played on German servers, I can't speak to that. But I can speak for the American servers and I am continually amazed at the horrendous behavior I find there.
Please don't make generalizations.
But Ashley, I don't think his comments were specific to you. He was just using the scattergun approach and hit you in the process.

Thanks.
I wasn't sure at first, but, in this thread, I'm the only person that flags "germany" in the location field.
Maybe I'm a bit to jumpy when it comes to drawing conclusions, but it's not the first time that somebody writes bs like "ah, you're from germany, that explains".
When teaming in GW, somebody asks "Where are you from?" I used to reply "Ascalon", but i switched to "germany" later on, because I think it's kinda nice to see where people are really coming from.
Maybe I should switch back to my "Ascalon"-reply.

Well, I actually live, dwell, eat, drink, love and breath here in Germany, so it should not be taken as an offensive comment. Either way I did not make any generalizations by pointing on WHOLE communities, just on a part of it, so I won't take your comment as an assumption/allegation but a fair misinterpretation.

Spinnst Du?
oh, sorry, english forum...
Are you insane?
Do that and you'll be spammed with insults by the offending player. You'll be called gay, n00b, retarded, whatever.. and those insults will come at you in capital letters and 733t 5p34|<...
Trying to teach nice behaviour and discipline to the r0Xx0r Kiddies that sadly populate any online game is an impossible task.
I think Gabe and Tycho explained it best:

I was writing my real opinion on most people who play GW, but I think it was getting a little over the top, so I deleted it.
Thank god I am almost done with the pve hell of my 3 chars/6 classes.

OK.
Maybe you should update your profile too, and put "germany" in.

Yeah, I guess whatever you do in GW mission: It's gonna be wrong the one or the other way.
I know that it's hard to teach people THE lesson that they'll understand, but it's always worth a try.
I think I wrote that on another thread already: I usually give people a warning, telling them what I don't like about their behavior. If they have a good explanation as to why they e.g. rush into large crowds of mobs: ok. I'm still learning too.
If they just give me the "noob calm down, it's fun" I tell them that I'll leave if they continue.

Bragg, Warrior Dood, and any others up to max party size -- I'll go with you to do the Gates of Kryta bonus. We can slam through it (in the sense of it going quickly, not that we'll rush through it like a W/Mo on steroids and Dwarven ale) pretty easily. Send me a PM to arrange a time to meet if you want to take me up on my offer.
