Well if it lags, they should freeze to.
Maybe you was stuck sometwhere - report it with /bug command describint the place where you stuck.
Btw did you try to move away with the mouse - sometimes the WASD keys won't help you and you must relly on the pathfiding (usualy helps).
It is possible that they blocked you with pet or nature spirit - this is a popular tactic in tombs now.

I have seen that before and the person couldnt use any skill that wasnt self only or pbaoe. They werent on any obstruction, just standing there inside the starting area and no method of movement worked. The same player was fine in the previous map and could type chat and communicate as normal though, while being stuck. They were mostly able to just spin around in one spot.
I have got myself stuck inside world geometry inside the tombs and arenas as a warrior before, but that is different from what the original poster is talking about. It has to do with the times where you will see places where projectiles will go through objects for an attack. The same thing happens with melee attacks sometimes and will pull the character inside the object on completion. Course if the warrior didnt have to stop moving for the attack and just path around the object instead of trying to go through it while attacking it wouldnt be a problem, but ah well.

The two elementalists could attack me with spells although they were not able to do sufficient damage to kill me.

Is it possible that the elementalists had cast their spells right as the lag spike hit? If so, that might explain the continuance of their attack on your characters.

You mean this?
And yes, I'm aware that Strength of Honor is useless with a staff.
Didn't expect to have to use the staff though.
In any case, here're the details of the situation-
The person had apparently gotten stuck in that non-existant place (actually seems to be underground) and no melee attacks could hit him. A warrior and 2 monks, and a support necro with only 1 degeneration inflicting skills, had a VERY tough time taking him down- He was a paladin wa/mo exactly >.< (Mending, Healing Hands, Healing Breeze)
I cut the names for privacy, despite hating the person. He stood there, healing occasionally, and laughing at the team, making rude remarks =\
Failed to see that he was exploiting an unintended bug to grief a match.

The /bug report is no longer in use (oddly enough the emote was not removed).

Had that happen where I think I should be moving, but I'm not. OR I am moving, but I get thrown back to my starting spot. I like to call this the yo-yo effect where you think you're going somewhere, but you're not. It's something to do with the way the servers communicate with your comps... it's annoying, but it doesn't always happen.

Erm. It isn't?
Do you have a link to this somewhere? It would seem unfortunate that it doesn't even tell you that it isn't doing anything. It still says, "Thank you for your bug report", last time I checked.

The emote still works but nobody is reading it.
