Ok if I get enough people interested we will make this happen.

Mission Statement.

Prove to Anet that the PVP crowd is not a Vocal Minority, but a Vocal Majority.

Goals.

Our goal is to swamp the ladder with guilds called the vocal Minority. I would like to get 40-50 people to join this cause and organise several guilds called some sort Vocal Minority. Than we will need to run some sort of spirit exploited build and climb the ladder to the top 200.

I would also like to get these guilds to run pure spirit and healing balls and control the hall.

If anyone is interested in this idea let me know. My ign is Guru Ice. Once I get enough people willing to participate we will start

He's trying to prove to Anet so that Anet will nerf the "nature renewal"-base rangers team.

Again I say, A-net is not referring the pvp players, it is referring to the people who post on the TGH forums that complained about pvp issues. They never said that pvp players were the minority in Guild Wars.

you may have better luck at starting a firestorm at the guild hall which i heard is primarily pvp oriented

i think most of the posters here (not all) are happy with or not unhappy enough with the game to try to spoil it for others just to try to force Anet to redo the game to their tastes

this is whats going to happen Crimson....A team of intelligent, skilled, thoughtful players is going to develop a strategy (like spirit spamming)....and anyone that can't counter said strategy without putting any thought into a counter-build will bitch and complain about how it needs to be nerfed and it's unfair....it's getting very very tiresome

It is not a vieled thread, it is titled clearly.

Anyone can choose not to click. It is not a commercial or something annoying, just a simple topic line. If interested you can click on it.

Everyone on any of the Guild Wars' forums is part of the Vocal Minority... whether they be PvP or PvE or both. Simply put there are many apon many thousands of people who don't give a boo about chatting on message boards - they simply play. And that makes us all the minority.

It was never implied that PvPers are the minority IN GAME. That is a non-issue one way or the other and is irrelevant.

The vocal minority alex is talking about is the people that were posting on the board about pvp at that board that he posted that on, not the whole pvp population.

Its not ruining the game for someone to make a guild and then win lots. Thats what will actually happen, through lame tactics albeit, but they are common all the same.
The point is the name, which just digs at anet. nothing would actually happen to the rest of the population, in fact they may not care.

Historically, the Hardcore PvP population has ALWAYS been the VAST Minority in most every MMORPG that has come out that is not a purely PvP-oriented game. I think the only MMORPG where the PvP Crowd was NOT THE Minority are Shadowbane(which was purely PvP-oriented, and ended up really sucking anyhow) and WoW. but in WoW it is a very close split.

whether they wish to admit it or not.

Just check the PvP server population in most every other MMORPG.

8/20 guilds are smurfed/dead on the front page. Doesn't need to be specific. Just wait a lil more while then you'll have a whole montage of smurf guilds holding the top. Honestly, there isn't alot of people at "the top" that don't know each other except for language barrier issues. And even then, guys like Union are damn famous for their skill.
