From what I can see useless Monstrous Eyes are at 3/4k, Ecto is sold out, all the dye are at sane sell and buy prices although Orange is higher than I've ever seen it o.o, Every superior rune is sold out, furs are sold out and Obsidian Shards are 9k.

Except for the runes everything is working out fine now.

My new prediction is that all the rune horders will wind up selling back all their runes for a little higher than what they got them. I mean really, who ever bought superior Inspiration or Soul Reaping anyway?

I'm thinking only the people who horded ecto/shards and superior vigors will be makiing any money here

I think in the long rune Anet will have done a good job and things will straighten out.

There's still something funky about the trader prices. The material trader only offered 100-160gp for 10x steel, charcoal or fur. I.E. less than the rare material trader offered for 1x material.

Yeah, it's to the point where the players are buying everything and hoarding them, and only selling to players. So its like they are buying the trader out, then selling at a much higher price.

They don't buy anymore at the trader because :
-prices are too high (they bought at 100 gold each, not 9k)
-and so out of stock, because they bought all the stocks for a ridiculous prices

well I guess having my fissure armor ( have had it for a month now) is not longer going to be symbol of hard work and dedication to GW. That sucks, I dont mind everything else that was sold cheap but why ecto, now everybody and thier uncle is going to have fissure armor, oh well at least Ill not have to deal with "omfg pwnzors that armor is roxorz, where did u get it!"

So thats what fissure armor is (was) about lol, hard work and dedication to GW hehe. Oh my god and i thought it was all about the extremly good defence and stats they got since it is end game armor. ..And no i dont care about looks.

ive noticed that the makers of GW always make it easier for the beginners to get good things, which lowers the prices. it hurts the players who work for their items to make money. i hated it when the released the rune traders cause i made my money by selling runes. and then they released it and i was SoL in making money.

Yes, they have bought ecto for 100g and they will sell it for 6-10 platina. But who cares ? You are complaining that you won´t have their profit ? Or what ? Before the patch you could buy ecto for 12k from players and for 18k from trader. They will have to spend their time spamming WTS, you will have reasonable prices than before. Or am I missing something ?

They should just have everything at a SET price because Anet is a god damn moron when it comes to economy. Seriously, dyes should all be the same, and should have secondary colors double. Then have shops buy for a little less than what they sell for. I mean people are ruining 15k armour with black dye just to show they're rich. If all dyes are the same and cheap, there will be more people with custom armour. Everyone looks the same because they don't want to fork out a couple K to get the desired look.

1. It's a fake economy, it's there for players to have fun with, not just for the sole basis for you to buy things. Try going to 14th century Germany and buying purple dyes for the same price you would red

It's just more fun to have a trending, shifting market than a stale, mundane market. Maybe those of you who like the to mass random junk would think differently about this.

2. Most people mix black dye with other colors like green and blue. If they want to make their clothes black just to prove that they are rich, well good for them.

Want to know a secret? If you don't want to use black dye on your clothes then don't buy it.

3. If they don't want to fork out the money, looking the same just becuase they don't want to use money that is meant to be spent then so what?

Money is worthless in this game unless you want to look different. If you want to look different then use your money. You don't need a pile of platnium to survive. Just becuase you have only 3k on your account doesn't mean your cahracter will starve to death O.o
