You have just made me and my guild incredibly rich. Considering we're all long time players, we're already wealthy, even after getting Fissure armor. And now we are able to stock pile on Superior runes and materials for incredibly cheap prices. There were around 30 of us online (even more logging on, as i type, having received messages on MSN about the prices) during the reset and we've probably made millions, each, in profit. Looking at the price of Sup Absorption going back to 80k is a happy sight for us.

To the other people who might be upset that we're driving prices up by hoarding the items, don't blame us. We're just opportunists and ANet was kind enough to grant us such an opportunity that we grabbed happily.

good ole americans, complaining because we're no longer special that we have more money then everyone else. i was rich before the update and i'm richer after and i love it. now people won't be so obsessed with money and will actually play the game. pvp should get a huge boost out of this.

farming will be reduced and the game will be much more enjoyable overall. who cares if there are twice as many people with fissure armor? i'm glad people who are upset by this are going to stop playing, it will make it much better for everyone else who stayed.

i do feel bad for the koreans and europeans though, they did get screwed big time.

It's that kind of thing that make me bored. I think there will be 2 kind of players now : thoses who were here, extremely rich, and those who don't were here, extremely poor (compared to the 1st)

I guess this would be a nice time to remind everyone that missed out on this opportunity, including myself, that THIS IS JUST A GAME. Yes, it sucked that while I was at class/work, people were getting these things at low prices but hey just think--once you turn off the game, poof....REALITY HITS!!! There is no such thing as Globs of Ectoplasm or Fire Wands of Enchantment. There are bills to be paid, dogs to be fed, sexual intercourse to be had, benches to be pressed and the list goes on.

Stop GW and go back to CS!! trust me, it's a better form of crack!

Well, that update pretty much did it for me. I made 5 million gold. I gave out free perfect upgrades and 100k's to newbies who were nice people and needed it. I sold another 3 million gold for real money. I am going to have to quit now anyway. Bye GW.

Yes it's just a game, and by missing this you are now not more competitive, online gaming isn't fair, it's a fact, but this, it's must be a joke, boosting a few players to millions gold. You can farm what you want for as many time as you want, they will have more gold than you. What's the point having more gold etc ? They can buy fissure armor, selling on ebay, buy EVERY items they need, while you must farm for 30k / hour ? An online game can't be fair, but giving millions to a few players...

WOW this is a perfect example the the Fan community sux

I realized that there were 20 different threads complaining about prices and now that is stable everyone is complaining that some ppl got rich. Do you know how many ppl exploited it just buying stuff in europe and selling it in america (and vice versa)? I think this was a good update and gave value to the gold coins and makes weapon farming profitable once again.

The best is you can sell all the cheap stuff to the merchant for a correct price. I bet loads of ppl are angry cuz they accepted eco as a trade item (worth 10-12k) and now it lost value. But seriously how many want to spend more money on coloring their armor then buying runes for it.

And just to ask again, why would you need millions of GC? Items in GW are pretty useless and are just for the look. If you need good items find a collector and upgrade it.

Yeah...while it would've been nice to have capitalized on this sort of opportunity like sino-soviet did, but you just have to accept the fact you didn't. I didn't, I'm a bit sad, but whatever. Just a game.

Hopefully with the price fixes, things will stay balanced. With the market now flooded with things that people have run out and purchased today, things should retain some sanity.
