I don't know why people complain about the small amount of faction you recieve in the arenas and tombs. Yesterday I played a PvP Spiker for 1 hour 51 minutes, ONLY competition arenas and got 1000 faction, enough for a weapon upgrade (what I spent it on) or a regular skill. You may only get 10 for a regualr win or 12 for flawless, but people forget to calculate they get 2 faction for each unique kill which adds up to 18-20 faction per win PLUS an additional 22 every 5 consecutive wins.

NOOOOOO. that means that you dont need more then 200h to unlock every weapon upgrade there is. GW is doomed! It has no longviety. Where is the replay value if you can get everything in less then 200h.

faction is for the few things you weren't able to unlock through PvE. It is just a help.

I just had 15 consecutive wins in competition arena..moved on to team arenas. I got 347 faction.
How lame.

In that time i could have done many farming runs and unlocked a few things...not get less than half way to unlocking 1 item.

I can see why you PvP players complain now. I sympathise with you.

In the case of 15K armor (Normal ones) again I don't feel PvP should have them. Why would they need them? People in PvE save up to get them, so its rewarding, there no need for PvP to have them.

If anything they should allow PvP to unlock special looking PvP only armor
