Default Petition to put back the locations of the skills

I was expecting a reply from a forum moderator to my thread

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=45445

about why guildwarsguru has decided to take off WHERE you could find the skill on their skill listings page:

http://www.guildwarsguru.com/skill.php

but.. no one seems to know why. So anyway, I'm starting a petition. For those new to this site, you used to be able to go to the Skill Listing Page and get a desription of the skill AND also the location of the skill (which skill trainer to get it from). In the past 2 weeks, guildwarsguru has decided to take away this function, so now when you click on a skill, you only get a description.

My question is why? What was the reason for taking the locations down? Some have said that they're updating it because the locations were out of date but they weren't. If you found the location of the skill under the skill listings page to be very helpful, sign here.

I was also wondering about this. I figured I had remembed the locations being on another site but I guess they were actually here at some point. Maybe they have a coding error or something? There's really no reason to remove them...

As far as i know most of this site is ran off php so it could be an error. Also, many of the skills locations/descriptions were out of date including the infamous "Roknar's Forge" listings.

I think that most likely the database was taken down for correction because I generally found myself relying more on the user comments made in the skill section to try and track a skill down rather than the skill info. Plus, the section only listed trainers and never quests through which a skill could be aquired so I found the community comments far more helpful especially in terms of Elite skills which had no location listed in the first place.

That being said, I'd naturally like it back (and improved to list quests as well) but I'm not completely ready to call it's disappearence a malicous act as of yet.

Guild Hall's skill listing is fairly accurate.

I don't know if guildwarsguru cares if you advertise competitive guild wars sites but my point was that the skill location page made looking for skills very easy. You not only got a location of the skill but also a description of it and a picture as well.

None of the sites you pointed out gives you a description of the skill or a picture. It was nice to have the skill explained in detail and the location given with just with just one click.
