Default in honor of The Frog

I love the Frog! This post is divided into two parts, first the out of game, "tabletalk" part, and second the in-game RP talk.

The Frog is obviously a dev, anyone who states this to Frog Worshippers in game is redundant... Yes the Frog gives updates but something perhaps not intended by the devs in this little game... the Frog adds an enourmous (and I might say new) cool factor to the RP aspect of the game. The Frog is a live, interactive prophet. Some believe a god. The Frog is openly praised in worshipped and I dare say become a sacred animal among GW RP fans.

All hail the glorious Frog! /Frog!

The incredible turnouts to gain audience with the Frog at any given hour of any given day are testament to this. The devs would do nothing but increase the coolness factor of GW by making the Frog give regular (but unscheduled) prophecies and wisdom. It is a simple game that adds TONS to the RP feel of the game, and those who grief, sit on the Frog and shout out racism, insults, blasphemies, etc, are easily ignored among all the people shouting out "Hail the Frog!"

The Frog is glorious! I've dyed my monk all green in honor of the Frog and I don't log on now without going once to visit, kneel and pay homage to Frog and ask for Its blessings on my PvP journeys.

I do so hope that the Frog will play a key role in at least one quest in future updates and/or the expansion. I hope that the Frog will find a way into the GW mythology! The devs have created something big here through the most unexpected of methods, through playing a simple game for kicks... The Frog is big, whether you feel the need to "save the Frog Lovers from their stupidity" or simply arrive in the Frog's presence to greif a dev and/or ask about updates is irrelevent... EVERYONE knows the Frog. Everyone wants to hear the Frog speak.

I for one am a Frog worshipper. All of my characters are members of the Order of the Eternal Turtle, a pan-game religion that absorbs and assimilates the religions and mythologies of all games the characters appear in. The Frog is easily assimilated... the Eternal Turtle, an amphibious reptile, and the Frog, the great Androgyne Amphibian! All hail the sacred Frog!

/Frog!

So true! Having mysterious prophets in the form of animals is just another way to bring excitement and wonder to Guild Wars, and I hope to once again see The Frog in my journeys.

I too follow the wisdom of The Frog, the greatest thing since sliced bread!

When the Frog speaks, here is a breakdown of local chat:

10% People trying to get the Frog to shout their names
25% Asking real questions
55% saying "Thank you Frog" or "All hail the Frog", etc.
5% Asking rediculous questions
5% Attempting to grief amid the "OMG THE FROG!!!11!" spam

It was amazing. The Frog actually came to IntDis2, even though most thought he was going to 1 (the first district to fill up). Eventually, even district 2 filled up and for the first time ever there had to be 3 international districts.
