I give my support to those who changed what had to be changed. You overuse it, you lose it.

Yes, yes congrats to that team! Now there is another, somewhat more effective way to solo!

Congrats to them indeed! Not only did they change how spirits work, but they also updated other skills to boot! (notice for a moment that ranger interrupts fire faster, I have found this to make it so much easier to interrupt monks )
A big hand to ANet, lets hope that next time people start complaining they remember that the problem got solved in du time.

Ha... I'm a modern day Nostradamus. Not that it took a lot of foresight to see the storm of complaints coming from the 105/55 crowd. :P
Congrats ANet, you guys did what you had to do. Don't be so afraid to do so in the future. People will love you, people will hate you... but in the end the game is going to be a lot better off because of these changes.
NR in it's current form had to die. After listening to some alpha/betas talk about how it was first implemented, I'm very sure about that. It just never was balanced. I have to say I'm somewhat surprised that Ether Renewal remained untouched though.

it is a step in the right direction. however the build is still possible to work and people will continue to work it.
the people who will complain are the ones who don't understand the build they use, even i undestand that with a few tweaks it is workable, they simply let others do the work.
this is the best update ever. ele's will be having fun, warriors will be having fun, rangers who don't spam NR will have fun, monks who focus on doing things the way they are intended will have fun, everyone will have fun.
only stupid people with no understanding of the build they use will complain... until someone posts the changes needed to make them workable.
(that economics crap is starting to get me down. sure ecto maybe is cheaper but player to player trade items are more expensive because of the extra money in the system. the only reason ecto isn't hugely expensive is because of the traders).
has no-one noticed that meteor is now as cheap as flare? sweet. (exhaustion is still there though)

my time is being monopolized by MSN work and so I'm spending too much time surfing these forums and I'm starting to get bitch-anger on me... that stuff seeps through into your soul... I need to restrict myself to a few positive threads until my workload is finished and I can go into the game.

as far as nr, great job!

Exactly. There is always going to be an uber leet build of somekind and there is nothing Anet can do about it. With all the new Mantra buffs I imagine Mesmers are goona be the new uber tanks of the game.

UW Door Bug
I'm just happy the UW quest where the doors don't open was finally fixed. We went down 3 times in a row the other night and two the night before, and they never let that last group out. Quite annoying...
Even if it was one of the minor bug updates, it's appreciated.

It's a shame this thread is flooded with so many ignorant replies, from BOTH opposing sides.
To those supporting the update:
Stop trying to rub the Invinci Monks' noses in feces. They discovered the build long before many of you whiners had even understood how it worked. I feel for those who were given a means of playing, only to have it taken away. Some of you may complain about how OP'd a build was, but to state, with much arrogance, how you are "laughing" at Invinci Monks isn't going to get you any brownie points with some of the truly skilled, if not abusive strategists in this game. Keep that in mind. And his comment about fissure armor? I believe it.
One of you said you'll be happy you took 6 months to earn fissure the "hard way". Why is that anything to be proud about? Since when was efficiency considered a bad thing? You make no sense, and I hope I see less posts from you in the future.
To those opposing the update:
Here's your chance to whine. It isn't your fault that Arena Net didn't figure this out the first time, so those of you who learned this game the easy way, and perhaps also the "cheap way", have my sympathy. I'm surprised there are so many arrogant posters trying to add cheap shots to an already-excruciating blow to builds quite a few of us have been using for quite some time now.
I, personally, have not used an Invinci Monk build, and I advise it is never used during PvP, but I always thought that, for PvE, it would have been cool to see. It's too bad I'll never see it the way it was meant to be used, which, unlike what another poster mentioned, isn't always "one certain way".
