So much for rare weapons...
Yeah, I bought 5 miner keys, opened five chests in Sorrow's Furnace, and got 4 near perfect gold items. I thought I hit paydirt, until I went to LA to sell them and noticed everyone 100's of gold items they wanted to sell to. I know everyone's gonna rip this apart saying "Good gear shouldn't just be for farmers!!!", but it seems to me that some of this stuff needs to stay harder to get. Fissure armor for example. Gold weapons too. It seems to me that everything ANet makes that is widely sought after, they later make it to where everyone can get it. Like they want the entire gaming community to catch up. I just don't like thinking everything is a trend. I suck at predicting trends. I have a gold storm and eternal bow that I'm very proud of finding. But now is everyone gonna have one? Ok, I'm done ranting, feel free to call me a noob and hate on America. Hehe.

sucks for you that you cant predict trends. i think the majority of my gold was off of prediction. lol. but i agree...i wish there was stuff, even if it didnt have better stats, but was much much harder to get. golds shouldnt be pouring from the clouds like rain. blue weapons did just as well. gold used to be a status.

On a more positive side note, I thought the update was really cool and it resparked my interest in the game. The music is great as are the new enemies and areas. Especially that flame Djinn guy, he looked cool as hell. And the Leeroy Jenkins reference.

I can see a profit being made with the new green items. Golds are out and green is in.
