Default Major Exploit Site

I did a search for Guild War player guilds ( Tryed to get the primer guild for free ) and I came across this site. I couldn't believe my eyes!! The Blatent cheat/hacker/exploit guru's (no pun intended) website staring me right in the face.

This is on the opening page:
[
I posted this here since it appears that the Dev's seriously read these forums.
Just wondering if they have anyway of making the Creeps that offer things like this on a website take the site down. or pay some kind of fine, or Both.

I Would really like to know since it appears that the major exploit that was just fixed yesterday that resulted in a couple hundred accounts being banned, might have gotten that exploit and MANY others from this site.

Please Post feed back and on this Thread and some one please get a Dev here to read it. Maybe we can get the masterminds behind this sort of thing to stop, and we can get on with our regular playing schedual again.

There are sites like that for every single successful MMO on the market, you name it. They all claim to have super-secret ultimate exploit strategies for collecting a billion gold a minute.

It's a hoax. I'll admit I bought into one, briefly, when I was young and stupid, and I'm willing to bet it was as bogus as any of the ones you'll find today. The exploits are either months old and long fixed, don't work, or never pay out what they claim to. The rest of it is crap ripped off from info sites and the official guide. I don't think ANet has any way of nailing these guys legally but frankly, they don't need to.

With a game where most things are easy to achieve, this amuses me.

People who use exploits are morons

Exploits, hacks, cheats, etc. are illegal to use in GW, but I do not think they can touch the site because of this

We read all the forums, and thanks for sharing this information. Just for your own information we did not ban a couple hundred accounts yesterday. We did not even ban a couple of dozen accounts. Seriously, we banned a very small number, those who really far across the line, and that's that.

Thanks again for the info. If you find others, you can also submit to support.guildwars.com, if you like.

Doesn't look like they are doing anything illegal to me... They are not giving programs to DoS attack the servers (or at least not on the front page), they are not giving out programs that break the law, just the EULA/ToS of ANet -- which they are not bound to outside of exercising the exploits in game. the EULA/ToS is not a law, its an agreement made when you use the product of ANet (their servers).

im sure the devs have an account there and check out anything that seems somewhat viable. mostly bs though, as someone else stated above.

Can someone who has a lot of money sign up for that site and post the content here?

Even if I had millions i wouldn't waste a single penny on this junk...

It's obviously all just a crock to get money, and I bet people buy into it too...

What a nice way to scam people of money eh? Oy...

lol yeah, the ironic thing is that ANet almost certainly has a subscription to that site and is fixing all the stuff posted on there as soon as it comes in. We've seen how fast exploits/farming spots are getting killed as soon as they become popular, even with people trying to not say what/where they are on GWGuru and other fansite forums. Probably someone on those underground forums running his mouth about every new bug and arenanet jump on it immediately.

Nice. Just go ahead and link to the site while you're at it. A little free-advertising is sure to get your point across.

Ruin Video Guides: We include our exclusive video guides that show how to quickly farm multiple ruins such as Superior Vigor’s. Our Ruin video guide alone lasts over five minutes. Many of these ruins are selling for $30-40 each on ebay. Even one would easily pay for a one years subscription to Guild Wars: Underground subscription.
That site sure seems *really* credible with its "ruin" guide.

Well just a little FYI for you there I didn't post it here and link for free advertizing , I put it here so the dev and the other powers that be can look at it and see if they can force that webmaster to take it down.

Here is yet another site where you buy your way to an unfair advantage
url censores
Isn't this type of thing ilegal?
Isn't the sale of online or Intellectual property such as In game gold, and Items against the law ?
Can't the company that these people are making a proffet off of do something about this like sue them or force the websites that do this to close?

I would really like to know.

How about we stop posting links to these sites to avoid giving them free publicity? This breed needs only ten suckers to earn enough to encourage them to continue.

the question is, is it worth the time and money to pursue? I think that if they teamed up with companies like Blizzard and the other biggies, the could certainly put together a well funded task force devoted to taking things like this out.

STOP linking to those kinds of site here. Forward the URL to the Guild Wars support page instead.

I'm sorry about that. I didn't think there would be a problem, I was just trying to get the attention of the devs here, and to try and get an answer to my original question. which was is there anything Anet/Nc Soft can do about the those offender?

Again sorry for any inconvienence I may have caused.
