never never never use the same email and password that your game account uses in a web forums.

If you have too make another dummy Hotmail account or something for that kind of thing. Sorry to hear about that. contact Arenanet ASAP.

[email protected] and tell them your account has been hijacked. They will contact you for Registration confirmations... Hopefully you registered your game... If not they have ways of verifiying your info. but you Need to contact them ASAP. the downside they can do little to restore your account at this time. so you may have to start all over again from scratch..

Sorry...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

I recently added a D-Link DGL4300 when I noticed someone performing a sustained port-scan on my PC. My old NAT-based router was allowing these scans through, but fortunately they were being detected and blocked by my ZA software firewall. Either way, I took no chances and upgraded my firewall. Now ZA sees nothing, and my router firewall logs are still filling up with blocked intrusion entries. Someone really wants my GW stuff, but they're not going to get it with script-monkey utilities.

If you don't already have anti-spyware or viral software loaded now, I sure hope you correct this situation soon. Your hackers may actually get some real critical info, like credit card numbers and other identity-theft ammo...
