Back when I was jes a GW youngin' I had a max damage Eternal Bow drop for me on my very first UW trip. After we got out of the UW I went to the ToA merchant to sell my junk & accidently sold the bow! After screaming for several hours, some Thorazine & a eventual trip to the Psych Ward of the local hospital I calmed down.

I once dropped 30 ectos (my fow party was trying to show off by dropping 2 shards, 4 ectos each person etc. Once i dropped them someone grabbed them and left. I thought that was pretty funny.

Was farming and I accidently salvaged my perfect axe.... ouch, I was pissed, but I farmed all day the next day and I bought another one... :O Now I leave my axe in the storage -_-

These arn't really screw ups... but i've lost count on how many times i've tried to salvage a perfect upgrade and gotten iron ingots.. or a +24 hp or something...

What I usually do is, before I sell I go through my inventory and put all the stuff I want to keep in the last bag and all the junk in the first bag. Sometimes I miss something and sell a black dye or somesuch though. I've never sold anything vital.

However, there was this one time... I had a piece of armor with a Superior Rune of Vigor on it. I bought it from the merchant way back when they were only like 5K. Now that they're 60K + I wanted to get it off that crappy armor and put it elsewhere. So I salvaged with an expert kit... I salvaged bolts of cloth instead.

Well if you salvage and get crappy stuff I understand. In your case, that hurt, since you weren't buying it for upgrades, but the inherent mods..
