If you've finished PvE you might want to try a new primary profession and play the game again - some quests are only available for certain professions. Try a mesmer, Necro or monk etc.. And do UW, FoW, SF and Titan quests.

Can you do that EVERY day? Anyone can make 100k in 10 minutes if they have the uber-items to sell in LA.
..or if you do a lot of forgerunning, I guess.

I still play this game after many months (about 6 now, I think). The reason it does not get boring? PvP and nice friends in the game.

Still play the game, took a month or two off, but been playing since it came out of beta. Having a blast sinse SF came out and finishing off all the little things in Pve
600k in the month is not a possible for majority anymore. No more "targeted" farming for the same items at the same locations and most or all of the zones with the removal of the "free" chests for the most part and the new chests (that require keys), and monster group(s) changes to prevent botting.

Ooh, that makes me so happy. It's nice to have fans.
I keep playing because I have to. I'd be drinking ale with the hunters in pre-searing if I had the choice, but partying up with folks like Aron here does make the endless running of Nolani a little more fun.

Here is what keeps the game refreshing to me:
1.) Farming - Learning how to farm different groups like devourers, hydras,....etc with different characters.
2.) New characters - Use all 4 slots and find out what other professions are like. In turn you may change your secondary in one of your other characters once you find a good combo.
3.) Finishing the game - Oh, wait they added a new area (Furnace) and new quests! (Titan)
4.) Farming for green items - Some of these are especially hard to get in the Furnace!
5.) Running - Learning how to run from Beacon to Forge, or to War Camp, or Citadel, and running a few missions....etc.
6.) Finding the best armor/weapons - UW or FoW, getting different 15k armor for my differnt characters.
*Doing all this by playing the game and not buying gold on ebay makes for a much more enjoyable game!

Thankfully I got the game early so there were still plenty of people in the PvE areas playing, so I got my fill of that. Had good PUG's, bad PUG's, Leeroy's and leaders... good times. Now however, the PvE areas are thin, good PUG's are getting harder and harder to come by, and everyone is either looking for a "run to X" or farming. So I bid farewell to Guild Wars PvE about a month ago.
PvP just doesn't entertain me, at least not for long periods of time. I still enjoy jumping into a quick CA match or amuse myself by seeing how far an IWAY group really can go, but that's it. The lack of variety in play modes makes it very stale, very quickly.
All that said however, I enjoyed the heck out of Guild Wars. I certainly got my money's worth out of it, and I'll be giving the expansion a serious look when it comes out next year. I played over 600 hours total, which is more than I ever get out of a game. GW also gave me a good primer on what online gaming could be. I discovered that PvP really isn't my cup of tea, but that I wanted a more involved PvE experience.
So... I picked up World of Warcraft. I know, I know... that automatically discredits me in this community, but I'm really enjoying the persistent world and the new take on PvE. We'll see if after 3 months I still want to plunk down my $15 a month for it, but for now I'm enjoying the new perspective.
Overall I more than got my money's worth from GW, both in terms of time spent playing, and the perspective it gave me regarding online gaming as a whole.

What keeps me playing this game?
-Good guild, good friends, good times together
-Strategy
-Little goals (clearing out UW, ascending all char types, getting kickass armor)
-Easy to fit into a busy schedule; a few minutes of PvP before work!
I have probably - haven't checked recently - over 1,000 hours spread over 7 characters and two accounts, first one purchased in May. I'm still itching to get home from work to see who's on, and what they're up to, and can I help?
OP, I'm really not sure what you want. Why aren't you still playing Chutes and Ladders or Uno or Monopoly or any other game forever and ever? Because it was time to move on.

I agree. It's having a good guild and making friends that keeps me playing. I've done pretty much everything you can do in this game, but I still enjoy it because of the people.

Everyone loses to EP and Prav sometimes, nub. About the only guild we can't beat yet is those Idiot Savants, working on that though ;P
And that's part of what keeps the game alive, guild battles and rivalries; prav makes an obsidian spike, so you counter it, then they counter you, and so on

Well, I know for a fact that I can make 1.5 to 2 plat in a half an hour. With a level 20 w/mo and only using 2 monk skills. Level 20 can be hit in mere days. So, 600k is easily made in a month.
No need to waste money on eBay gold.
