Actually, now that you mention it faction points probably isn't that difficult to bot. The "Enter Mission" button is in the same location, and it's not very difficult to program spamming left mouse clicks on the same spot. Just leave it running and constant auto-joining arena matches overnight to gain faction.
Of course, I'm not an idiot enough to do this and it'd be very easy for ANet to detect it.

Hell, anyone with two braincells to rub together could make a script to join random arena, follow teammate and/or attack closest <rinse repeat>. The question is WHY someone with two braincells to rub together would do this.
It's just retarded.
Yeah, you can probably get a couple of hundred faction per hour, but at the pretty big risk of getting detected and having the game CD's turned into two $50 coasters. I mean, if even someone as sucky as I can make 2400 faction per hour in random arena, then anyone even half-way serious about PvP can probably make twice that, without risking getting banned.

The game CD's are just $25 coasters, all that matters is the Access Key, silly
And, well, if you suck that badly at Random Arena that you need a bot for it...you should just stop playing the game.

I was wondering why last time I tried to play random arena, I noticed an increase of "botlike" names...

Of course, the natural question is now "Why were you looking at those sites?"
I find it incredibly disappointing that they found a way to make CA even worse.

er, curiosity?
CA is a good way to quickly test and tweak skill combinations.. especially if you may need to re-make the character several times.
If you go in with low expectations in CA you can have quite a bit of fun.. the randomness is very interesting even if you get a bot, its just one more lovley suprise
Its good to make dev's aware of theses bots, but really.. its not worth getting frustrated about, I mean.. cmon.. its Competition arena!... lol.

CA is the best PvP there is. I wish it weren't so.
Teams/Tombs/GvG all take forever before you actually fight anyone and you have to have guild mates or it even takes longer.
CA you go in and make a difference to your team every match. If you make it to Teams you get this good feeling of accomplishment.
Blah blah, I know everyone knocks CA but until they do something about groups it's still the best we have. Quick, fun matches with a sense of accomplishment at ten wins.
Not only that but it's not that hard to make 10k faction a night. The only faction farm that's better is teams and that's only if you have a guild group.

BOTS FTW!!
Pisses off the trade community. Now pissing off the Random Pvp Community. Whats next?
ArenaNet really needs to get off their tushies and stop "updating" (nerfing) the REAL players, and start taking measures to erradicate the damn bots. Cmon!! they punish us for actually playing the game, and bots run free w/o any detriments. im tired of this...

I met a bot in CA arena months ago. She was not a bad bot either: she did cast a preset of skills, including attunements and did use tab and shift to attack an enemy, casting her spells.
We noticed her unusual behaviour first when she kept walking though lava towards a target. We tried talking to her but got no response. Later, we studied her and noticed the repeating patters of her behaviour.
It got quite funny when we won our way with her to the team arena's (losing our 12th battle or so). When we were in the team arena hall, she was stuck. We had a laugh. I had taken screenshots and reported her (filling Anet in with every possible detail). However, a few weeks later, I ran into the same character doing the same bot thing, which was something of a let-down. Still, she was good for a bot.
