i wasn't knocking divine favor req.
i was knocking the pruning mod.
the thing that you have to uderstand is that ghostly staves with inherent mods (like improve casting and recharge) are some of the rarest staves out there. i have seen only 2 that were gold and these were on trade forums.
the ghostly staves are more about affordable coolness rather than being uber 1337 weapons of pwning. i shall try to save some more staves and will even start to pick and choose to save more money.
i shall look for an air req. staff and a div favor staff req. staff.

just wanted to comment after a long absense, the curse ghostly staff is doing fine with my necro cursebearer...
it has grown up to become a insightful ghostly staff of fortitude +13 energy +21 life.... not too shabby

I have a few, was debating salvaging (cept I get crappy mods not wood) if you want em they're yours, I do admit an affinity for the pretty things, and would gladly take anything requiring blood, no matter how high the req

I've sold about 50 of those things to the merchants, even some decent gold rare ones...I never got much of a market for them from regular players...
But if I get any more nice ones I'll hang on to it and let you know.

why oh why do people thow the non max dmg staves away?
my monk uses a 11-20 (i think) ghostly staff. +4 armor and +10% enchants. blue. crap.
suits me fine. i think it goes with my saintly gear.
i will restart this foundation (if i can) i don't have much to do in ToA anymore...
never heard of them coming out of chests. i presume this is the best way to get gold ones. if that is what turns you on...

i met a chap in ToA that had a max dmg fire req. ghostly staff.
gold.
+4 insightful
+15% enchants.
however it already had a reliable home. FoW chests are where you find the good ones apparently.
they are less common now that less people solo UW...
