SsP: sore losers
Last night my team made it to HoH to be confronted by 3 other team there. 3 were american and 1 korean. We didn't get a free pass to the alter we had to defeat a guild called Shameful Spirits [SsP] first.
It was a good fight and eventually we prevailed, they had 1 warrior left who had already used his res sig. We had 4 people left alive who had all used res also.
I don't know what inspired this warrior but he decided he'd be a runner. Just like those pesky runners in random arenas but in the actual hall of heroes. Half the team down we couldn't catch him to kill him, so for the entire 7ish remaining minutes he just ran around, so we didn't even get a chance at the altar.
The Korean team went on to win.
I was quite discusted by this behavior, I really don't know what else to say. Very poor sportsmanship SsP. You certainly have shameful spirit.

SsP lost the altar? They had a good holding run last night. I know they kicked our asses on the relic run with multiple speed bursts and snares. We just weren't as well-built to handle relics as they were.

And who would you be, oh distinguished anonymous poster?
I have to admit I'm pretty impressed with your team . For SEVEN minutes 4 of your guys could not kill ONE player and you hoped your team actually had a chance to kick the holding team out, or maybe even hold it, when it's often 16 v 8? Um, it's nice to hope!
I wasn't with the team much yesterday so don't know if anything like that really happened, gonna ask guildies later. Just the very fact that you compare tombs warriors with the griefers in CA raises a suspicion though - haven't you noticed that warriors in any somewhat decent tombs team normally dont have any self heals or defensive stances (except iway which doesnt relate to the case)? Which implies that they rely on their monks for healing, thus a lone warrior with no monks to protect him normally is an easy kill?).

Well....
another point of view on this might be that since your 4 people couldn't kill a single warrior then you guys didn't deserve to compete for the hall!!
or how about this....since you guys didn't actually kill all the SsP guys you didn't actualy win and therefore you can't claim they were sore "losers".
I can go on and on stating the obvious in different ways but the point is this:
Don't blame the other team for YOUR "shortcomings"

You couldn't kill all of their team, therefore you didn't beat their team.
I say the poor sportmanship comes from people who expect the enemy players to commit suicide just to gratify them.
They are under no moral obligation to commit suicide, hence it is not poor sportsmanship for them to stay alive as long as possible.

Our snares were dead.
Yes, but if that warrior had not run around in circles and stood to fight he would not have lasted long.

it the best 7 ish minute in hall for me. we dont care if iway dont like us and why would we let iway go in and screw up a good hoh match. how hard is it to run iway just hit c space. run a different built and i would have let u get to go to the alta. u cant freaking win if u cant heal your hero anyway.
running noob around the alta was fun w/r with no axe rake that show how much they no about anything

Having someone run shows poor sportmanship already and the answer from SsP is this? It doesn't matter if the other team was IWAY. Players deserve respect regardless. Hope that making IWAY lose was worth putting your tag that low.

This truly shows your lack of sportsmanship and your truly selfish behavior. Just because you dont like what they are running, doesnt mean that you have the right to not let them play. if they beat your ass, then stop being a pansy and accept that you couldnt roll through an IWAY, and go back and start over. I completely agree with the origional poster. youre pissed because you lost to an IWAY build. BOO HOO CRY MORE PLZ!!! if your team isnt good enough to come into tombs KNOWING that every other fight is most likely gonna be an iway and your team didnt bring any type of blocker for it, you didnt deserve to go to the alter either.
FYI: there have been NUMEROUS teams win halls with IWAY. just because you cant win with it, doesnt mean others cant

Running in hoh
Well I was in the Ssp team last night (Dying Toomeechootoo) and while this gave us a bit of a laugh it is nothing compared to edge bomb bad sportsmanship in halls.
Twice when we held (with fighter henchie..thanks to error 7) we won, but as the other two teams died (on victory announcement), they set off edge and it killed us. Two wins in a row and nobody to open the chest. Anyway...that is beside the point.
All I wanted to know was how did you win relic runs if you could not snare one lonely warrior?

Sorry to everyone, but guild grudges and/or bickering doesn't belong here. All this will result in is random accusations flying around with a mix of flames.
Sorry for what happened, but we're not here to discuss whether a specific guild "plays fair" or not. Both sides have made their points, and now this topic can be put to rest.
