If you check what people are selling you, you cannot get scammed. If someone modifies their offer, recheck it all. It's not hard. Come on people.

Funny thing is...

I messaged the guy in your screenshot. I figure, hey he's selling an artifact for cheap. I message him, we're going to do it for 35k. We put up both things, and he asks if I want a free item. Changes it to a minor. I change mine from 35 plat to 35 gp.

Ok, broad statement. Minor runes for one class had the same graphic as superior runes for the same class. You could tell the difference at a glance what class they were for, but not what level they were.

i cant clarify it more then i already did, people keep these to scam people

Carinae, theres no need to take offense unless you know what he said applies to you. Does the public raise hell when people say guns are always used for murder? If you don't murder with a gun, theres no need to be mad.

I just don't like the insinuation that everyone who has one of these is a scammer.

As I stated in my first post, I got one legitimately and I actually use mine as intended.

Saying that the only reason someone has one is to scam people is a bit of a stretch. In fact, it's patently false.

You can say that some people scam with these, and that would be correct. You could even make the case that Anet should update the icon on all existing ones. That's a reasonable argument.

Just because you have one doesn't make you a scammer.
