The guy already said you wouldn't be able to see the words cleanly. If you read his first post he described his axes.

I finally got my Monk/Warrior build working and with some help with the OP I have it perfected for the griffon run. Although, I lose quite a bit of health (down to 15) at the end but it's all taken care of. Basically, I use the 17 Cast of Protective Bond that gives me 1 energy down for each hit. I also used Essence/Spirit to get 2 energy when i get hit. So its +1 energy every time I get attacked. that adds up to a lot of energy. The firs tthing I do is cast healing breeze followed by zealots fire followed by bonettis and then aura. then I keep spamming divine boon for stops on breeze and bonettis. There you go, easy stuff. With that, you can probably figure the build. Key stone is Divine Boon which heals me for about 50 cause of my divine favor and damages for about 30 because of zealot's fire.

I do the same thing, put on zealots and spam divine boon and when i run out of eng. i put on healing hands recharge with essence... but u say u use essence/spirit, what is spirit that gives u +1 eng. per hit?????

Heres the build i use:

W/Mo
Healing: 9
Smiting: 10
Protection: 4
Tactics: 8 + 2 (From helm and rune)

1) Gladiators Defence
2) Vig Spirit
3) Cyclone Axe
4) Bonetti's Defence
5) Sheilding Hands
6) Healing Breeze
7) Balthaza's Aura
8) Mending

Ok first round up your chosen melle creatures.
Cast 1
STAND STILL
Cast 2
Cast 3 (to get Bonetti's Defence fully charged in 1 swing)
Cast 5
WAIT FOR GLADIATOR'S DEFENCE TO END
Cast 4
Cast 6
Cast 3
Cast 4
Cast 7
Cast 3
Cast 4
WAIT TILL GLADIATOR'S RECHARGES (should be another 5 seconds or so)
Cast 1
Cast 2
Cast 3
Cast 5
(Usually by now everything is dead)
WAIT FOR GLADIATOR'S DEFENCE TO END
Cast 4
Cast 7

As for equipment, as long as u use an axe with a +10% enchantment grip you'll be fine. I recently got a max dmg, 15%dmg enchantment with 20% enchantmen grip - so i use that now (i found that on a griffin run)

As for shield i use the collectors shield outside rankor, -2 dmg when in a stance.

As for armor i use:
Ascalon's Helmet with a minor tactic
Glad Chest with minor strength
Glad Leg with minor axe
Glad Gloves with major vigor
Glad Boots with major absorption
This gives total of 521 health and 27 energy which is needed for this build.

I cannot afford a superior so eh

As for the amount of creatures i can kill, well i usually end up grouping most of the griffons and minos around there, definetely more than 20.

As for loot i found, well they have been pretty good i.e +1 marksmenship grip (20% chance). IF only i could sell them.

I found a much faster build. My APPROXIMATE attributes are:

10 smiting
10+1 strength
8 axe mastery
8 healing
2 tactics

My reasoning: I need 8 in healing for the +3 mending. I need 8 in axe mastery to use my axe (REQ=8). I need 11 strength to use my shield (the +1 comes from the helm). The rest go into smiting for more damage, and whatever doesn't go into that goes into tactics.

My skill setup is as follows:

Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's Defense
Healing Hands
Zealot's Fire
Mending
Balthazar's Aura
Vigorous Spirit
Balthazar's Spirit

Start out after you zone by casting mending and balthazar's spirit. This will bring you down to 0 energy regeneration, but that is not a problem. Collect them mobs, then stop and cast healing hands followed by zealot's fire. Balthazar's spirit gives 1 energy every time you're hit, so you should be full on energy to use Balthazar's aura* followed by vigorous spirit.

You then survive with cyclone axe and bonetti's defense until healing hands is recharged. By this point I find most of the griffons/minotaurs are already dead, and the stragglers are now coming up to fight. When healing hands is ready again, cast it and balthazar's aura which should be recharged by then. Follow that up with a cyclone and bonetti's then zealot's fire and vigorous spirit when they are ready.

With balthazar's aura, it's 20 damage a second for 10 seconds, not counting an enchantment grip, which can equate to 200+ extra damage.

*note that you MUST be wearing something to boost your mana above 25, whether it be a healing ankh or gladiator's armor. Personally, I use gladiator's armor and one piece of knight's armor, which boosts my energy up to 26.

As for weapon and shield, I use a max damage 3:-1 vampiric axe 13%>50 with a 16% longer enchantment grip. 16% seems to be the cut-off point for 12 seconds of healing hands/balthazar's aura. My shield has 16 defense and -2 armor received while enchanted.

I hope this helps kill the griffons faster. It certainly does for me, so give it a try.

Why would you need attribute points in axe? If you get the jist of what everyone is saying, or even half-read some of the posts in this topic, you'll see many are using a zealous axe. Zealous axe + cyclone axe = lots of energy, considering all the griffons are swarming around you. All the damage is being done via spells, NOT by the axe itself.

You probably mean scorpions and they use distracting shot. You have to just try to chain the skills as fast as you can. Usually on bad monster spawn runs I get either LV or zealots distracted. I can usually survive w/o zealots, but LV makes it tough, but not impossible.

Otherwise you are fighting scarabs which use chillbains.

Kudos to the OP, that video is awesome. On a side-note, Gaile says that farming is 100% ok, but if so why can only monk and warriors farm good areas? I mean there must be some creatures in the desert that are weak to elemental damage.

wait...people are getting energy off a zealous axe and cyclone? I thought they were getting it off cyclone and bonneti's :\

Also i do get the jist of what people are saying, i was just asking. Please stop being patronizing..

I apologize, I did not mean to sound condescending. Please don't see me as a rude, mean person; I just had a rude post, and I'm sorry about that. Anyways, there are many approaches to this. You can use Bonetti's to get the energy, or you can use a zealous axe, or you can use both. Another alternative is using a vampiric axe and using cyclone axe for quick health. All in all, its nice to have many axes to choose from/switch to, depending on how you are using the skills, and in what order. The cyclone axe can charge up the adrenaline necessary for Bonetti's. Really, its a matter of preference. I've run this with zealous and without zealous, it really doesn't make much of a difference.

You'll also notice the OP has 12 in axe mastery, so his build is different from others posted here. It is possible to run this without any axe mastery, because all cyclone does is (if using zealous, give you energy), give you lots of health via Live Vicariously, if I'm not mistaken.

Ah ok, no problem. Its just if they use mending, and zealous you have no regen, And minus energy with another enchantment on top of that. I wasnt actually using the op's build but the one i quoted a page back. Smiting with an ele is so much easier so i guess im gonna have to keep on doing this till i get it right :\

Anyway thanks for clearing that up for me, no hard feelings eh?

2)Bonneti's defence
3)Symbol of Wrath

5)Healing Hands
6)Vigorous Spirit
7) Balthazaars Spirit
