The thing is, ANet doesn't agree with any of the above. ANet doesn't want to stop the runners. Anyone who did not realize this the *first* time they saw there was a south door in Beacon's Perch leading to a very high-level area has got to be pretty slow.

So if you're gonna ask them to stop the running, you might as well ask for them to make the game PvP only or to get rid of instancing or any other of those common crazy requests made by people who just don't understand which game this is.

Yes, that's a serious issue - ANet really needs to cap out the AL at Ascalon/Yak's Bend arenas, and block out the Elite skills. Even now that they've added XP to PvP matches again, it just means that no single person can be a griefer *forever*... but everyone can still be a griefer for a short while, which means the overall situation didn't improve much.

I'm sure that ANet's measures against farming and against griefing in the low level arenas will eventually make this case no longer be an issue. You'll still be able to get ran and farm everywhere with the build someone else has posted on a forum, but you won't be able to do any harm to anyone with it (I'm going by ANet's standards here, where farming seems to = harm to people... not saying wheter I agree with it or not).

Hehe, that's funny - which of those actions has ANet declared they're determined to put an end to? Again, seems to me you and the developers have different opinions on what the game should be like.

No, no, no, that's flawed logic. Have you ever done one of those online IQ tests? Some Pongs are Pings, and all Pings are Nerfs. Are all Pongs Nerfs? No.

(Not to mention, of course, that you can't prove that some Pongs are Pings, in this case. Saying "I've recently been informed!" on a web forum is hardly going to affect decision-making at a multi-million dollar company

I'm not so sure you know what you are talking about. I will buy a run when I feel it necessary. I don't get runs for any of your four reasons though. I am currently getting a monk run to ascension. The reason is our guild needs some good healers to go to UW or FOW and help with some of the upper level quests. Everyone has different reasons for getting run.

well thirstys and ez mission i dont c y ppl keep complainin about it T Keep is harder it took me atleast a week before we finally finished it after that i finished the other missions like it was nothin

I bought a run on a elona for 1k... did it beat the hell out of wasting time trying to get a group there at that point? Sure did. Sorry, but there's only so many oblivious people you can group with before you'd rather be done with the damned thing for spare change.
