Something has gone real wrong after de-wintersday update.
Everything was "working perfectly before and during wintersday".
After the update that puts everything back to normal...I'm having very serious in-game problem.
Game is unplayable with extreamly bad lag in both PvE and PvP.
Whenever I use skills....it has 5 to 10 second delay...even though my character moves fine. But then..when my skill is finally activated after delay...my character would teleport to other spots of the map.
This will get worse and worse..and I would eventually get error 7.
I know few people will say its my computer problem.
But let me assure you that it's not my computer problem.
Nothings have changed except that de-wintersday update...and everything was working perfectly before.

Am I the only person who is experiencing this?

Edit(Addition): I thought it is probably temporary problem...so I did not mention right away, hoping it will get fixed soon. But now it is like 8 days since wintersday is over...and I'm still having same issue.

Edit(Correction): Sorry...my mistake. Wintersday was over 8 days ago...but update came out 2 days ago. So I had this problem for 2 days now.

I used to get error 7 when I was playing on my 56k connection... sigh
so it is possible that ur ISP is punching you in the nuts...
dont quote me on it though, cuz im no computer genius...

Is it possible my guildwars server is going through maintenance or something?
So...people who is in different server would have no problem....but people who is in same server has problems like mine.
I checked official guildwars page..but there is no scheduled maintanence...so I'm very curious now.

I actually had more lag during Wintersday. After the update to remove it, all's good again.

ya its proly yur ISP i havent expreicend any problems unless im running too many programs and even then its just slight lag.

Happens to me ALL the time...to the point where I called up my ISP(Roadrunner) and complained and they've sent techs down to my house twice and found absolutely nothing wrong. I'm computer profecient enough(dad's a comp tech for FAA, I'm a Eng Major(systems)) I run anti spyware, viruses, malway...yata and it still happens. I've gone through the entire registry, searched all my root directories...no viruses/loggers/crap of anykind...no other indications...only really bad lag in game every 2 hours or so for 2 minutes-ish.

*edit* road runner might be just dicking me which is what I'm starting to suspect...*looks for bat*

In the past few days we had this happen to us on two occasions: The character could not map to a town or outpost. We would get a net error = 10 message. As soon as we stopped the game completely and restarted, this error went away.

I never experienced this before. So maybe it is due to the recent patch?

I don't think it is my ISP problem.
Having an ISP problem right after the new patch....don't you think it is way to coincidental?
Furthermore...my other games work perfectly fine in online.
If it is ISP problem...I would have trouble playing other games online as well.

And..again...nothing has been changed except new guildwars update like I mentioned above.
"No" new hardwares, softwares, and etc.

I am having a bit more lag than I was before the de-Wintersday and I actually upgraded to DSL. It is nothing that makes my game unplayable but it has upset me a few times.

Am i the only lucky one with no problems at all using wireless connection ?
I always wonder why people complain about it so much, but now i start to think im just lucky

ontopic: I haven't experienced this problem either (i am on european server)
