watched majority of the matches by myself, so there wasn't any reason for me to read it @_@ (i did read a little, but pointless)

I assume most people saw WM's matches? I wonder who can stand up to them currently . Really going to need some luck to pull this off (somehow your build can counter their's well). Better bring some wards -> America and Europe representative. Ward against WM would be very helpful.

In my mind, no guild I seen so far meet the standard. From the look of their highly trained team coordination, to stand on the same level with them you pretty much need a room of 8 GW capable PC and LAN for 1 week [1 week being very short, to be safe, I would say 3 weeks] train in co-operation with your team. Also have someone who is very keen in spotting tactical errors and lower efficiency, although this part I don't think they reach that high yet.

One more thing... the last thing I want to see in the world championship final is "ranger spike vs ranger spike".

I watched all the matches and I was really impressed by WM's coordination too. Especially against Team Union, at first it seemed like they were trailing but they turned the tide in seconds and quickly wrapped up the victory.
They know how to pressure the opponents and when to strike.
Guess they're going to be tough to defeat. I still have to watch EW and EP in action though...

Watched the pRp vs. XoO matches. Both were quite impressive. Otherwise, didn't watch any of the other ones.

The link for Tag vs. NR only links back to Tag vs. Rev, not that those matches are of any interest...

It seems whoever was editing that web page skipped over that match, because it displays rank rather than guild tag next to the guild name.

It should be:

European Round 1 - Match 2:
Expect the Unexpected (XP) vs Necro Raiders (NR)

That page doesn't seem to be getting updated too quickly. There have been a lot more matches than the ones shown.

I pity the person who has to write up Match 3 of pRp vs. EP.

sort of agree with above poster...

if anything, the best way to do it is copy and paste most of the part.

I watched a couple of the matches. It's pretty fun. Although i'm kinda sad for XoO. My friend who is in this guild was telling me to go watch it but they lost the two matches, the last one being terrible =/

WM surprised me to run ranger spike. They are defending champion but run one of the most popular build. I was expecting to see something special. Although they are good running it and i guess that's the most important. I've only watched 1 of their match so i don't know if they run anything else also.

Anyone have seen the match with LOL when one of their guy left O_o? I wonder what happened.

I still havent seen any of the IQ's matches.. i don't see them in the list which is sometime confusing.

Well right now WM is korea champion still. I hope America or Europe win the championship!

WM ran their split squad warrior build the second match; I believe it was:
4 W/E (Gale, Heal Sig?), 2 R/Me (Blackout, Crippling Shot?), 2 Mo/N (Boon Prot?).

And they run that VERY well. It sort of contrasted with the way EP ran it (i.e. not as well as WM), which was kinda frustrating.

If anyone hasn't already, watch a korean match. It's very different to normal Am/Eu matches.

I actualy tried to watch some of the matches but most of them were lasting up to 1,500 minutes and still going... sadly not all of us have that much free time.

LOL, that's not how long it lasted, that's just telling you when the match started. Although I'd agree with you that the display isn't exactly clear (couldn't they at least format it in days:hours:minutes?), and it wouldn't hurt to show an end time either.

The longest match there were so far are 96 minutes thanks to pRp and EP.

This is what they wrote for the pRp vs. EP match.

Battle #3 in Eternum Pariah’s Guild Hall (Warrior Isle)

EP build: Unknown
pRp build: Unknown

This match was restarted due to one of pRp’s players dropping before the game commenced.

Battle #4 in Eternum Pariah’s Guild Hall (Warrior Isle)

EP build: Unknown
pRp build: Unknown

This match was restarted due to technical issues, per ArenaNet’s decision.

Well, they had a longer one for #5, which was the 90 minutes one.

They didn't mention that pRp killed their own archer NPC with the catapault in the first round.

The person who wrote the report share some heavy similarity to one of the people from these forums... As if I read the guy's comment quite a couple times already.

Battle #5 in Eternum Pariah’s Guild Hall (Warrior Isle)

EP build: WM-style split

WM-style? Try WM-down-to-the-bone (minus unnesessary things like stoneskin gaunts on your hammer war ofcourse)
