Haha the golems have always been there errr atleast as far as i remember and whats wrong with rust you arent made of metal are you?

i hate it when rust kills you-its the lamest skill in game
yeah, i think anet nerfed the run a lil, i had same problem

Fairly certain that Ice Golems always had rust. And they stood there (area before mineral springs) since I've been playing.
Unless they've been added to mineral springs

I don't recall coming accross level 24 ice golems with rust, perhaps it didn't spawn for me before. However, as I stated, rust hurts badly since signets take forever to use.

I know they have been around before the Mineral Springs along with the Heretics with Crippling Anguish, however, I don't ever recall Ice Golems in Lyssa's cave where the Ice Imps are.

There were level 10 rustless ice golems with the imps before, now they've been replaced by their level 24 counterparts. Tool your build around a bit, healing sigs aren't all that necessary to solo the cave.
I've done one run and gotten one sword since the update. I'm not bothering with it any more because it's not worth my time.

I wonder what lvl 10 ice golems did there in first place?
If healing signet takes too long to use, try alternative healing sources. Healing signet is not the only healing skill in the game.
Also W/Me is not the only working solo build.

Dude, I never made the nerf up. There were never level 24 Ice Golems there, if anything they were rustless level 10 Ice Golems. They have just recently introduced the level 24 rust Ice Golem. And I am not complaining, just informing everyone.

Well if there are lvl 24 golems there as opposed to the lvl10's that were only there before, something WAS changed - though there never should have been lvl10's in mineral springs in the first place. The caves always spawned with either ice golems or trolls with the imps though - usually 3 to 4 ice golems, if not then 2 trolls.
Sounds like a minor change regardless, and if it stops solo running for those that can't find a way around it - so be it. I'd personally prefer maps be changed everytime entering. Maybe one time you enter and there are 3 wurms there to suprise you as opposed to the avicara. Have healers spawn with the imps once in awhile, etc. Makes the game a bit more fun and interesting.

Try using a Wa/Me with sever, gash, Victory is Mine, Dolyak, Sprint, Elemental Resistence and throw in a few other skills you might like to use like Watch Yourself and Healing Sig.
With Victory is Mine, you dont even need to use healing sig actually and it makes handling the trolls much easier if you get a spawn with them.
Dolyak is not affected by Rust by the way.

I noticed this as well. Its also if you notice - so they can water trident you. When you are already slowed and and in a maelstrom this makes it harder. Its still soloable though.

I think Ice Golem have all the rights to go where ever they want to. If someone should complain about it, it should be Imps since its their hideout.

I think Power Spike is a lame skill since it can interupt Rust.
