I think all you get is a whopping 25 extra faction points

no nothing...
someone in the team said something would happen after 10 wins but nothing did....
just kept going. i should mention that we did lose to the obsidian flame spike in the 13th match.

Well the preview time "beta" will give them some time to fix this.....good feedback, perhaps change the AI in PVP.....

I doupt that you'll be able to farm it anyway, since you stop gaining faction from these matches at one point. We just went in, had 7 conc. then wiped. Went back in, and got no faction until the 8th concecutive win.

HIghest me and my team came was 15 consec. wins. We had 3 trappers and 1 bonder. The traps didn't work corectly as it seamed. Sometimes the train of oponents just ran right through without trigering it and leaving us worried about the outcome.
Congratulations on the spiker build to Anet btw. Its fun to see the NPC's cast obsidian flame simultanuously on one target.

My experience agrees with what Tailon says. It seems that there's only a limited amount of faction that can be obtained through the new Zaishen battles.

You can go back to the very first battles from Nameless..........
5 maps = Total faction per match * 5
4 kills per match = 20*4 = 80 faction
25*2 bonus = 50 faction
Total faction per match = 130
Total for Nameless training= 650 faction
You can do these 5 battles w/ henchies in about 8 minutes or less. (3 min for kill count, <2 min for preist, ~1 min for each other, not counting pre battle time and zoning time).
This leaves you with 650 faction / 8 min = 81.25 faction/min.
~1,000,000 faction needed to unlock everything therefore:
1,000,000(faction) / 81.25(faction/min) = 12,308 minutes = 205.13 hours = 8.547 days of farming 24/7 with no interupts or errors for total unlock.
This should help a few people out trying to unlock some basic skills.

I tried that. Didn't work. Only gave me the faction the first time through.

Same with me. Win 7 matches and u get the factions...the next time, you wont be getting ANYTHING till the 8th.
They did think about people farming factions

Got loads of faction from the elite area, its just easy wins with earth ele and trapper, trap gates, they run thru half dead, EQ/AS gg.
got a good 7k faction build up so can unlock me some rituality stuff, altho i dont have a free slot to use em yet.

I do find it amusing that most "balanced" teams do fine against most everything, but the VIM trappers; yet the VIM trappers can be solod by 1 frag mesmer and enough time.

you start again with getting faction when you logout each time..
though what build should I run for farming faction?
just 2 two trappers, earth ele..
and the 4th person what should he be?

You don't even need to log out. Just rezone after the 5th match and repeat.

It is so easy it does not matter. I used henchies with sword W/Mo, something you will never see in live PvP win.

The easiest way to farm faction is w/ 2 trappers, a nuker, and a protector. The protector has to throw up protective spirit quickly on the target of an earth spike. The nuker should use one shot damage spell like ob flame or meteor to supplement trap damage.
