I saw someone leeching XP/faction in the CAs today. She'd do nothing except try to rez at the end. Free XP/faction for me.

LOL... I was a leader/establisher of Tyrian Explorers [TEX] and it was not very uncommon for people to take me for a Texan. Never even been there, never even been to States actually.
But it was always a good start for a conversation and got few good players to join us.

I spammed lots of times in places like LA and Ascalon, some of the best people im my guild are from there.

I agree with the randomness when just spamming advertisements. Something you might want to consider is get with a goup of what guild members you do have play with pubbies in your groups and that way they will get to know you and you will get to know them. Doing this you should get a less random and a nicer group of people (though there still is some chance of the same old in this method) to play with. You can normally tell a lot by how people play esspecially if your looking for PvE type guild as the main point and as Jas said start talking to them get to know them alittle let them know a little about your guild, yourself, and your fellow guildmates a lot of trust worthy people will eat this up. Well that is my 2 Cents on the topic and I think it maybe a method that would bring many many moments of enjoyment.

Currently I am not an officer in my guild , but I'm fine with this.
The main point is the story. I was guildless for 3 months after leaving the first guild because they were inactive. After this I am horrified to say I joined a few spammers... Not to much succes(spelling?) By this time I had beaten the game 2 times by myself and was at Hells once again to win. Needless to say I was fairly rich.

While doing Hell I noticed that mostly our team was pretty bad(mainly because 1 of our monks dropped at start)(I was the other monk) Thank the lords no one in the group but me the leader and his friend were the only ones who had done it. None of the others relized we were probably going to lose.... The 3 of us practically did the mission on our own w/o the other members. By the end of the mission after we won (don't know how) I was thanked and we went on our ways. I was about to go when the leader asked if i wanted to join a guild. So I did...

Today we are still friends and even tough 2 guilds we were in switched to WoW we finnaly found a good one rank 112 last time i checked and though i am not an officer we are alowed to report leecing to them, For spammers and leachers they are fairly low tolerance but otherwise they are fine.
