each row/column must be filled in with the numbers 1-9 and cannot reapeat. Also each box can only have the numbers 1-9. Once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy and more a matter of guess at key points where you are forced into an ambigious choice. You pick one way and contenue to solve and if it doesn't work you go back and take another choice. The really hard puzzels have 3+ points where you are forced into that situation and each point might have multiple options...i.e. instead of just 4 or 5 in the box...maybe 4, 5, or 6.

This kid at my school is obsessed with sudoko. My computer teacher gave him one, now he plays them everyday.

I love sudoko! I'll probably try to find this one. Where did you get it?

Bah, it's only group theory. But an amusing diversion, certainly.

Nice way to kill some time, but I think I'd rather use my time playing some GW. XD

Err... No offense but the solution is on the right hand side of grid itself. Glad you liked the first batch of sudoku grids. The level is easy to hard, not evil/fiendish. If you're a sudoku beginner, you'll have fun with them, if you're a veteran they may be a bit too easy. May be I'll ask the grid generator/solver I wrote to make some special fiendish grids in the future...

While using group theory is certainly a very handy way to duplicate grids easily, you need a little more than that to make/solve a grid from scratch.
