I beat THK last night thanks to a huge minion army. It wasn't you in the group but I will agree... I played as a mesmer so I was shutting down all the skills I could, the warriors and minion army went nuts on EVRERYTHING. monks kept us all alive. We kicked so much ass. Necros with minion armies rule.

I don't even think it would be that hard to do. You get the kings guards at first, and the enemies at the beginning aren't that hard. So you get the guards bodies and the first one or two squads of enemies, and you're rolling.

Just camp the king, and BotM/HA often.

The ONLY thing you can't raise bodies from are the Jades, but there arent that many Jades. Many Mursaat/White Mantle/Dwarves.

It's definately do-able.

I agree, i did THK at lvl 18 with henchies i took all except the mes i was a ranger, and had really no problems at all. just stayd back with the king and let it rip, had to use my rez on the healer but that was it.

I found that with the henchies just so much easier, then with regular people who want to wander off or argue about who's doing or not doing what.

maybe it was just luck on my part but luck non the less..a mf hell if it got the job done then props to you..

I guess you missed the point. In the essence of better relations between those who know and those who don't, here it is. I don't care. He does, or else he would not have gone through the effort to cross out some of the names. The reply was to him, a person who may be interested in that bit of information, not you, a quiet observer who seems to think we are all here to inform you of how to do things :-)

I'll give you this, maybe you're running low on sleep or something. Hence, the informative post as opposed to just ignoring your comment.

Anyways, to Kiwi: I hope that previous post helps a bit.

EDIT: Sorry, I realized later I didn't want to be that abrasive, so I removed 'useless' from between 'your' and 'comment' on my next to last statement.

You've forgotten the last part!
I too did THK as MM and I ruled for the most time until....
Well you kill the Elementalist Boss and then have to wait a fair amount of time between mursaat charges...so even with your best MM tactics, Minions still degen and die. And not all murssaat are exploitable, so...

Easy if there are animals in the area or dead bodies to begin with...but I was agreeing with you...solo is hard...2 or 3 man is guarenteed.

I was one of the rezmers in Kiwi's team, its always hard as a dedicated mesmer to find a PUG. But with our guild enthosiastic Kiwi we did thunderhead as a minion factory and it was a walk in the park. His screenshots dont do right to the chaos created at the top of the stairs. Never had so much fun at thunderheads.

If you do MM in a group for THK, make sure you tell everyone to skip the moviescenes...

yeah the group I was in had a minion master. We had a great army of them. We all agreed to skip the cutscene. Those who had not seen it could just come back for it lol.

MF would be interesting for THK, that's for sure ... whenever i'm helping someone with it on my necro, I always found that using wells (Suffering, power, blood) work wonders for the tight groups of enemies throughout 90% of the mission ... I agree with some other posters that it would be hard to sustain minions/make new ones at the siege, but a MF would eliminate that problem. I'll have to try that next time i'm helping someone with that mission

I guess I came across kind of harsh, and I realize your response was to the original poster. My question wasn't really directed at you, but to people in general - I just don't see the necessity of blanking out people's names. On the other hand, I can understand the blanking out of skills if you have a build that you don't necessarily want to give out (which in this case doesn't apply). But names? Who cares!

I think it's a forum rule or something. I know the mods jump on that, but it may be more like a 'no bashing/flaming a person' kinda thing. Perhaps they are afraid of being spammed in-game.. I dunno.. As for posters, well most of us have our in-game names listed on our profile :-)

As far as harsh, the quoting ability should also list times the original was posted. Then, we could reflect better what state of mind the poster was in (when was it I posted? 2am lol maybe a non-quotable period between 0130 and 0430 :-)..
