Heh, funny how the pvp ladder still uses the old setup. They should change that.

Awesome! And has it been officially mentioned that Factions includes large scale PvP battles? I don't recall such a thing, looks awesome.

The real irony is I liked the old site better for its speed. Since the new one is all flashy and stuff is all over, it is harder to navigate.

Another irony is it is all female characters on the front page.

Two words: target audience

New site's okay, but there looks to be a few typos, like "GamePlay" or www.guildswars.com. Took a little fishing around for the update notes, though.

For anyone else who still likes the non-flash version better, it still exists. Just a slight difference in the address

It was like that with the old site too. I noticed that the first time I went there.

And matt, looks like your second link just expired, but o well, ive neglected to download the flash plugin for firefox anyways so i can get all the important info without all the annoying background flash mess.

Cos they look better...notice the default artwork for gw is ranger, mesmer, elementalist and necro-female. warrior and monk are male...just the defaults

edit: see gallery and community. it's hard to see on community, but there's a male warrior. gallery is male monk.

The new site is excellent. It's one of the fastest loading and nicest looking flash sites I've seen. I'm not a big fan of flash, but this was done A+.

Looks like they still haven't implemented RSS feeds...I was hoping Gaile had been hinting towards that. BTW, my GW RSS feeds have been updated...

Wow these new things really make me all giddy But I can't seem to find the cool profession icons and the skill listings for each of them.

Oh I meant it in a good way because I'm so overwhelmed by the serene looks of the new site

the star that come up when roll over in the flash menu is stupid, else
everything is better than before and nice

not true at all, you need to know what is flash for before making comments like this
