Sounds pretty pointless really. The effort wouldnt be worth it. Still yet to see it though, is it as funny as it sounds?

Maybe it is some new code from Guild Wars: Factions - "Nobody is your friend" *shifty eye*

Please don't post it. It's an exploit, and we don't want people to get banned for it. Thanks.

Sorry unienaule.
I was hoping that by posing it, people would KNOW that they would get banned from doing it, deterring them from commiting the action in the first place.

The guild (who isn't censored out on GWonline) only had members that were exploiting it so Anet would fix it. The general idea is that Anet will fix something faster if its actually being used, rather than just reading it from /bug reports.

And that theory is completely backwards and needs to be thrown out with the trash, please. Never, never try to 'report' an exploit by using it.
There is *never* a valid excuse for exploiting a bug in the game. Do so and you risk being banned. If and when you find a bug in the game, send a report to support.guildwars.com. The support team will forward your report to the dev team and your report used to trace the problem and fix it.
The more detail you provide in your report, the better. If you can reliably reproduce the issue, then you should include full step-bystep details on how to reproduce the issue..

i had to take a break from pvping because people were exploiting this BS
3 out of 5 matches had people doing this, and 2 out of 3 of these people were griefers who thought it was HILARIOUS

Yeah, i somehow managed to do it. Just went straight into a random arena, clicked on a ranger who was casting favourable winds and then, wtf?!?! I attack him....this was before the round started. It's completely random, so my advice is just don't click on your teamates AT ALL before the game starts, unless you do it through the party members menu.

its funny...if your on the other team. You get flawless and you can attack the traiter. Theres no real way to 'expoit' this b/c it carries not benifit other then a cheap laugh. However there is still no excuse to use it.

I DEMAND Anet to fix this immediately. As a monk, it is NOT fun when your entire team turns on you.

I'm happy to report that i've been playing around in RA and TA this evening, waiting for one of these idiots to try something ...
In RA, mission countdown starts, bug exploiter says nothing, does whatever the heck they do to activate the bug, and starts IW-mesmering me.
I throw on mantra of resolve and begin to set traps like crazy. there were 2 other rangers on my team as well, who also began to set traps.
Needless to say we owned this jerk in under 15 seconds. It was merciless. (And I reported him)
... still lost the fight though, as of course mr. jerk ragequit.

I'd have to say it's fun to abuse it. If someone done it to me, I'd have a good laugh too. It's a bit of an indication as to what PvP modes are needed though.

What's the benefit of abusing it anyway ? Do you get faction for killing people after you've used the bug ?

I don't know. I've got UAX and 10k faction. The only benifit I get from it is amusement. I usually die to my own team anyway.

Hmm
When someone does it, I generally go with the lines:
"I hope [glitcher] has a lot of money"
...
"Accounts aren't too cheap"
^^ Works quite well, and I have heard people are getting banned for it, sooo...
Heh,

Killing the Doppleganger again and again for the 10k exp, immediately dropping out during the cutscene to prevent it from flagging that the event had been done before. Something to that extent, anyway.

Lol Dam how do these people figure these things out? But, yeah I've seen this new bug while observing battles from HOH/Tombs/Tournament whatever you want to call it. It doesn't look like it took too long for someone to post how to do it all over the web.
