Considering a comeback to the GW community
ive been away from guildwars for 3 months since i sold my account on ebay... i know its frowned upon but i needed to get away from my guildwars addiction and now coming to this site and gwversus.com is making me interested in rejoining the guild wars community... i was known as Chunk Is Money (rank 10) in tombs and due to not wanting to grind to get an account i may buy an account off of ebay, which i know is frowned upon also... anyways seems like the GVG world has changed a bit... less ranger spike and more 2 monk pressure/split builds... seems like observer mode has made GvG more competitive due to guilds enhancing each other builds which i think the ladder benefits more on... neways i didnt have the chance to test factions during the free weekend...
my question is, do you think its worth coming back? i mainly want to play only to PVP and not interested in the grind aspect

Chunk! Chunk! Whats going on? Hows life been since you got off gw? (Its Tommy btw lol). Anyway, I think it would be best to return now if youre going to because you have a few weeks left of the useless ladder season to get back in the groove and then you will be ready for when the real season begins. GvG is evolving faster than ever due to obs mode, and ranger/caster spikes are simply laughed at. The factions preview was alright, but no one really knew how to properly use the new classes, so its definetely going to take more time for them to transition into some part of the metagame. Tombs is basically dead because of all the IWAY and the great number of newbs that have infiltrated id1. Its impossible to find a decent pug anymore and when you go in with a guild group, you pretty much just roll each map. Anyway, GvG is still where its at, so you should definetely send me a whisper if you do get back. See you online (hopefully).

Can I just say I wouldn't recommend buying one from Ebay? It's against the EULA and whilst I find it highly unlikely they'll find out that you bought it, is it really worth risking the account being banned?
Anyhoo welcome back if you do come back hehe.

ya its against Eula but i really do not want to grind over again... id take the risk... i had everything unlocked beat game 3 times with War, Ele, and Rang... FOW armor, crystalline sword, tons of ecto n everything b4 i sold my account... it would be a hassle and waste of time to unlock all the necessary skills to gvg as well as upgrades and get a character to level 20 just to play the expansion...

Well, nice that you're back, but eBay talk isn't allowed since it's against EULA, sorry. Closed.
