thats right i didnt believe it at first but somone was selling info on how to get post items into pre for 100k

they told me they contacted gm and gm said it is not a hack or glitch and it is legit

well i didnt believe this to i was wathicng my wife play and somone was selling bags and vigor runes
me knowing there is no way to salvage runes in pre heck i didnt even think they dropped in pre had my wife ask her to show the runes and bags

sure enought she had bags and minor even major vigors

so how are they doing this and is anet aware of it going on cause i would think if they wanted us to have pre items in post they would give us storage in pre

btw.runes are available from presear.

it's the bags (and max weps) that is getting ppl's attention.

that's amusing you/other OP made the same title. only other is capital P.

added: I agree most ppl say anything just to sell their stuff. contacting a gm eh? some ppl have complained about support when they want answers. they are obviously busy. unless your related or
very connected to ppl who made the game....but it looks like its an exploit or a fake. My theory is an "exploit muling/trading" from a guildy in the G.Hall. /IMO.

runes are not available in pre and if armor dropped in pre with a run in it how would they expert salvage the rune with no expert kits in pre

Well, if it's a bug, hopefully they'll fix it and confirm to the community it's been fixed. The uncertainty of not knowing whether its been fixed can be unpleasant.

Ive gotten them from charrs...

I think it was mentioned that experting would be 100%. So, I guess Ill try salvaging my minor blood rune(charr armor) with a norm kit and see what happens then. hehe.

The Charr across the wall in Pre do indeed drop armour with runes in. I found a purple armour with a minor rune of divine favour once, although I believe I did wait to go post before salvaging it.

A guildie of mine says he has a post item in pre. I was skeptical at first and didn't bother to confirm it but I'll have to ask him to see it next time.

I dont know about all this, gonna check it out when I get home but...

My friend made a new character yesterday and while he was in pre he found one of those barrels which stuff drops from and out poped a chaos axe.

Now I myself have never seen a chaos axe in pre-searing that was 3-5dmg have any of you?

this person that told me explained in detail she said she submitted a support ticked at guildwars.com asking about it and they responded to her saying its ok to sell bags and items in pre but like i said they did explain that it was post items and how they were getting there

this person game me the gms name but i dont remember it

as i said i believe some have asked suport about it but they are asking about selling bags and runes in pre they dont go into detail about how they get them there

You can also submit a bug report via /bug insert text here instantly. But they do not contact you this way.

I have emailed a report on how its done etc, they are working on it apparently.

Hope they ban those caught doing it. It's an obvious exploit of a bug, and deserves punishment.
