I must admit I struggle with this one also, I think he implies that if you think GW is a great game then you havnt really looked at other games.

Sure there are other good games out there, which do feature PvP, PvE, trading and farming, but, as Charcoal Ann says, GW is constantly changing, its living and breathing.. I really cant think of any other games which are quite like this.

When I consider other good MMO's.. sure they have new expansions or new editions, or issues or chapters.. but down the line these games have REALLY benefitted from these changes, some cant even imagine the game without them anymore (Imagine GW without faction)... So what Guildwars would be like when its as old as say.. City Of Heroes?... when GW has just released its 5'th chapter.. just imagine how much bigger,better and more world-wide the game would be... if GW isnt your cup of tea now, imagine it in a few years time xD

Crikey! As you see, this fanboy 'ere fell into my trap so we could have a closer look at 'er. Notice how this fella' quickly jumped on my back when I stated that I had a dislike for the game he treasures so much. Take notice that this fella' 'ere is the same fella' that's jumping on people's backs for attacking or making fun of people who are expressing their feelings about 'er treasure, which are other fanboys. This 'ere is a perfect example of how this race will do anything to protect others of their kin, or to defend their opinion!

There is this handy little forum feature called "Ignore List." Just put all the rabid, negativity spewing trolls on it. Makes for much better forum reading.

People find enjoyment in different things. Some people can play the same game repeatedly for hours per day without getting bored. Some can't. If you get bored of a game you get bored of it. You can't possibly use it as a basis for an argument as to why it is a crap game.
I got tired of DoW after a couple of months. its still a great game.

Also calling EVERYONE who says ANYTHING positive a fanboy is not a way to endear yourself to anyone. You need to accept that this game has good points. I will leave you to think of them. If you can be seen to have respect for others positions then you will in turn gain their respect. As it is you simply come across as arrogant and intolerant.

Well, I got this game right in the beginning of June, and I got BF2 the day it was released a few weeks later. I got through the install of BF2, and haven't even started it up since because I'm always playing GW.

Call me fanboy or whatever, but I'm just addicted to this game. To such an extent that all my other games are suffering. I even sold my xbox and gamecube because I never played them.
