Solution is simple. Every monster level 20 and up gets Finger of Chaos.
Farm that.

I can't find it but there was a huge article about underpaid Chinese ppl farming WoW gold so they could sell it on eBay. I'm sure they're doing the same for Guild Wars because you can also buy, if you're an evil lazy punk, GW gold on eBay.

All they have to do is remove the -50 focus item and 55 hp anything no longer exists but Anet has nothing wrong with farming overall. They DO have issues with bot farming or "human" bot farming to get gold for real money sales.

Just make it so that all drops are split X ways, always, with X based on the maximum number of people in the zone. Cuts farming by solo players to 1/8, unchanged for those playing the game through. Sure, they can farm, but at 1/8 normal who cares. The only reason solo farming happens it the benefit, and if there were no benefit you wouldn't see solo farming.
I don't really care, you can get almost everything you need in PvE easily anyway.

It's not that simple, the since the -50 hp offhand is a quest reward, getting rid of it would bring into question all the other quest rewards that while low in stats that would be valuable to most people, are however extremely useful for people looking for a specific sort of boost and don't care about the primary attribute. I was reading a thread about a solo warrior build for farming the underworld, when it came to weapons the author mentioned the usual sort of items, but they mentioned for a certain part (I think it was the first mob of aataxes) that instead of an axe or other warrior weapon, the right weapon to use was a wand. Later in the thread there was a reply mentioning some wand that was available through some quest reward that had some mod that would increase attack speed. Items like this wand and the -50 are not need to be nerfed, since not everyone does imonking or any sort of ibuild, heck I haven't hit the griffins in months ever since I got my SS necro fine tuned, i've made more money working with people to farm the Orozar Highstone quest than I ever did farming griffins, though I still conceded that griffin farming while slow is as has been pointed out earlier, a stable form of farming.

yea... augury int1 is a place for good deals. Just have to know how to do it. I got a 15^50 axe with some damage mod for 6k (great axe)
Been there more time, couldn't figure out what they are selling, who buys/sells, what and how. But they seem to understand what i need.

Isn't that kind of stereotyping, saying that most of the Korean/Chinese players are Bots?..
This isn't true at all.. I say about 65% are real.. They're just playing in the american server because how the economy is with weapons and such.. It's an easy way to make money here. They just don't know much english, only simple words..so that's where their broken english comes from, think about how easy it is to say 15k ok? I've talked to alot of them and it was all the same story, they were real just trying to make money here because it was easiest...I've even seen a few of the big korean/chinese sellers PVPing in Comp Arenas..

wou shu jong gua ren. I don't know where the hell people get this analogy that asians=bots. Maybe for games like WoW that asumption would be correct, but in GW? BTW I don't know what dialect they speak but I think chinese for willing to buy is wou yao mai-direct translation"I want buy". Maybe they aren't chinese and are speaking taiwanese or korean...?

I get accused of being a bot more than 75% of the time when I join a random group because:
a) My Monk has a name that is of the moon-language
b) I don't say much (or anything at all) when I join a random group
c) Protective Spirit spam as a prot monk
I showed Augury ID1 to two people that I know, and each of them came to the conclusion of "this is creepy." One of them thinks I might be a farmer now since I'm online so much D;

Intonation is key. "Wou yao mai" could mean "I want to sell" or "I want to buy." I think.

It is an interesting and i would agree creepy experience, there is something ironic in all the french/german players etc whining about us english speakers and getting their own districts, and us whining about the influx of asian market traders or (spam screamers) that seem to live in aug european district - perhaps we should get our own korea./chinese free district too.
on the other side of the coin perhaps Aug rock should be renamed to the Marketplace and that solves the entire lets have a seperate trading area debate. Since it is so full of traders - apart from ascension - avoid at all costs unless you have all channels turned off
Alex weekes should really comment on such a blatant and obvious display of constant farming and grind.
