Finally got it after 19 runs. Only seen it drop twice during those 19 runs. One on the first run for our MM and one on the last run for me, seem's like a pretty bad ratio to me >_<. Or the Dev's hate my sexyness. =D

And for anyone who want's to buy it, if you search around in the other districts, you can probably buy it for 15k instead of the 30-45k people are asking for in Augury D1. Or you can just wait for the prices to drop.

The shield was a "guarantee" in PvP inventory, but the FAQ states that monsters have also been updated with the ability to drop it.

i was hoping for a new skin but it looks just like brohn's staff mb slightly darker, but o well - looks good and got nice stats, plus highly farmable

A MM necro could do this solo, sometimes the minions stop attacking the boss and goes for the entourage.

I was lucky with a few guildies, had 4 drop in 6 runs.

How easy is it to get this stafff with say 3 to 4 henchie or a team of real ppl?I would like to see more greens in Prophets Path especially wands.

Hilarious.. I go out there with a 105 monk build (because of the scarabs) and clear everything easily.. then I killed the scarab queen and got the staff. Kinda ironic, heh.

Yakslapper is better. There is no need for a fast casting in the prot line.

I've been doing the run with my mesmer, a minion master, and a monk. Been trying to 2-man with just the mesmer and MM, but the MM hasn't quite figured out the build yet (He's kind of new).

Awesome staff, 20/20 insightful enchant is IMO the best staff for a prot monk. Anyone have a map of the boss' location?

Walk towards the old griffin spot from Augury, but instead of taking a left turn and going into the the heart of the old Griffin area just keep walking straight along that high dune. You'll see a 9-mob cluster with the Queen in the middle and trappers around her. She's always in the same spot. You can't miss this mob the way it looks on your compass. It's almost as far as the one boss spot where Featherfist or Screamingclaw would be, just not that close to the far wall (and Featherfist or Screamingclaw still spawn there anyways).

Aside from the verbal flogging I'm sure to receive for this question...

I never use Greens; but ran into it so I have the following question: If I apply a staff wrapping to it, will it replace the mod already there or is the staff sort of "as is" so to speak?
