Oh there's plenty of quests/missions where they have proven to be excellent team mates. To name a few:
Villainy of Galkath : If (when) we wiped it was mostly my poor decisions.
Thunderhead keep: I did it before it was changed, at least i have heard something has happened to it.
Ring of Fire: Took the long way instead, pretty smooth only bad aggro issue with imps caused some problems
Monks path: oh man, the healer saved the day here big time.
And others i cant remember them all now, but they can be impressive. I cant put one above the other, because they just rock. The hardest was the undead zerg mission, it wasnt their fault. In the end we beat that too.

The best performance i've had from Henchies has to THK did it first try, went back to do bonus with real people... died horribly really quickly. Iron Mines was also a good one, cleared the whole place, with henchies, only one that died was Orion(but he always dies). henchies are a godsend lol

Did most missions with Henchies. Depending on the character i was on the only one i struggled on was Thirsty River when trying to get the monk boss and the Priest they just healed each other. Got the priest down with seconds to go.
I actually think thunderhead Keep is programmed to be easier if you have all Henchies. I was attacking mobs and they didnt seem to do anything.

The only problem with henchies is fighting that damn Aura of Faith Monk boss in Abbadons Mouth, Ring of Fire or Thunderhead Keep(Ouch), just because he takes forever to kill unless your character is anti-caster. On a Healing Monk it takes ages though.

I would like to know your strategy for Aurora Glade with henchies? I have only been able to complete this particular mission with other players.

A few guildies were having a random invite ranger spike, Ive never played as a rspike but i kinda knew what skills to take. I took two preps, didnt know they dont overlap. We also took a healer henchie and a mage henchie. One of the guys didnt have his attributes set properly. We kill the ghosts and 4, we map straight away to hoh. We wait for the 2 min mark, go in, interupt their ghosts, we cap altar.
And the mage, godbless her, keeps spamming firestorm on the altar, and we win hoh. My first time ever, and we did it with henchies. GO HENCHIES GO !

same for me.
The reason henchies are so far superior to PuG's is because when you pick a target they attack that target. The only real downside is when you die, they have a hard time picking a good target to attack. The fighters usually end up on the same target, with the ranger on another, the cultist usually just stands around at this point, and both monks attacking a third target (and none of them bother to waste a res on the only human player).
...anyhooo
I like henchies

I managed to do RoF on my prot. monk with henchies.
Oh, and I capped Restore Condition with henchies (for those of you who don't know, it's located in the Abaddon's Mouth mission). That was tough, but it's a damn nice elite!

I've generally gone my missions mainly with humans, but a lot of capping and city-to-city travel with henchies. Capped almost all of Perdition Rock with henchies, although I got frustrated and had help from another human bumping off Harm Coldstone (who can only be realistically beaten with a lot of physical damage or else skillful interrupting, since he's the Obsidian Flesh guy).
I find myself saying "Stupid henchies aggroing #&%$)#!" about as often as I say the same thing about "Stupid people."
Henchies are usually worse about getting out of Wells, however, which is an annoyance in Sorrow's Furnace. Now if I could just get Devona to put away the stupid hammer and hold the gear!

I have done much with henchies. I have also failed horribly with henchies. When I fail I can usually trace the failure to myself.
My best hench moment was in THK. I did it a bazillion times with PUG's just as many others have. I finally attempted it with henchies and kept goofing on target calling. The next attempt I called the targets and stuck to them and THK was easy.

For some reason I like to go as blood spiker as well with henches. More fun than MM and easier to call targets then with Spiteful.
One thing I would like to see is for each one to carry a res sig. Would be great if they could cast them like the Zaishen do in their challenges.
