OK, WTF happened?!
For us poor EU slobs who weren't online - what happened?
From the disjointed chatter I gather the trader somehow bugged and started selling everything at rock-bottom prices, ANet froze the servers, then rolled back the game world to before the traders went crosseyed?
Have I got this right?

Basicly:
Anet was fixing problems for Europe by moving it to a new server.
Somehow the file containing merchant prices wasn't moved.
This led to a shopping frenzy.
They shut down the entire server.
And rolled back to yesterday 21.00 GMT to prevent the GW economy to collapse.

It was actually a very funny two hours or so. First everyone went crazy about the bottom low prices and the rare material and rune trader got seriously harassed, 'OMG SUB ABSORPS 250GP I"M GUNNA BE RICH!!'. Next everyone went crazy when they locked the traders and people went all 'OMG I DIDN"T GET ANY?!? SOMEONE GIMME SUM!'
Good times. This experience in itself is already priceless.

Indeed. The net outcome for the members of my guild that were online at the time was officially nothing(due to the rollback). But I don't think I have ever laughed that hard or long at the online antics of the masses. God bless TS and all the joy it can bring.

Yeah, so Europe held favor ALL day, instead of giving it up to us Americans for the couple hours they let us each night.
The time slot America usually wins favor, the game was getting rolled back.

^^^LOL, Well said.
I just wanna know what happened to my max damage (req 7) 15^50 crippling crystaline sword of Fortitude (+30hp), dyed black and customized to my character. Not to mention the FoW armor I had on every character, the 3,973 ectos, 4,112 shards, and the 249 black dyes (used 1 on the sword - hehe). And if anyone can tell me what happened to the pet that tamed and took up to level 20 in those 2 hours, I'd really like to know!

The real problem was that the prices weren't going up. It was a perma-reset. So, after 10k people bought a 250g Sup Abs rune, I walked in and found that everything was STILL at 250g. And it was fun, even though I lost a whole day to that.
Well done A.Net, GG whiners XD
