Muddy Terrain - Nature Ritual
Create a level 1-8 Spirit. For all creatures within its range, all creatures move 10% slower than normal, and speed boosts have no effect. This Spirit dies after 30-78 seconds.
Stormchaser wouldn't work at all. It would be a small slowdown, true, but a slowdown nonetheless.

Very true! We've had to do that with that Yakslapper punk so we could take it down with AoE spells. Gus, if you did that and applied the other techniques mentioned earlier, you'd have my 5k.
@MS - ah, thanks for the clarification. Think it'd be enough to slow someone down?

Well, it would definitely slow someone down. Real question is would it be enough?
Wellllll... if a group of R/Mo encircled you in a wall of spirits and body-blocked the gaps while healing...

Fair enough, but you didn't explicitly say we had to be allies. It's possible to meet in gvg or an arena for this purpose, and ironically I have better tools to keep you alive as your enemy, simply by blocking your spells and e-denial.
I would, of course, need an assistant to be allied to you to keep HB on you.

how many of you would pay to see a traveling circus every now and then for a show like the other special events?

Does Divine Intervention have any effect? Or does it not trigger because you are not technically dying from damage?

And you've got the right idea, Loviatar. This is purely for entertainment value -- no harm done. What I personally have a problem with is griefers (like a malicious MM that builds up a huge army, stands by the healers/casters, and sacrifices to death only to let the minion army go hostile). But those types of people get reported and don't stay around for long.
@Fungus Amongus - Divine Intervention is an enchantment, and it's blown away with Contemplation of Purity. Even if you had it on, it would only benefit the character up to the max (1 health) and then it'd be spent, so the vampiric weapon would still drain at the same rate and kill the char.

The last question on the table is how I dealt with the +hp spirit. That's not an enchantment.

Simply sprint out of the spirit's range? Bring along dodge, storm chaster or escape and lather, rinse, and repeat.

Alexi - the "sprinting out" issue has been solved too. By casting the spirit and body blocking me with group members/spirits.

@ Aejorii - that instaheal doesn't take away the degen of the vampiric weapon. So the char has 1hp, gets a bunch more from the instaheal. The char is still at 1, so the vamp kills them a milisecond later. Watchful spirit only delays the death by a microscopically small amount of time.
@Gunz Blazing Smile - ya, that's the solution (bodyblocking). Haven't run across a group that's tried that yet. I usually get a group together (lots of ele/n/me for some reason). I tell them they can all try at the same time (group effort is required for the solution). Some people just sit there, others try enchants. It's a lot of fun to see what people will try. And I think that finding the solution so quickly here just goes to show the people on this forum are much, much smarter than the average Joe Guildwars char.
@ Maxiemonster - with bodyblocking too, yes.

Watchful Spirit. When you contemplate it, it'll heal you before the vamp weapon kills you.

Kariston the Swift - please see my reply above to Aejorii. To illustrate this further:
1. Char has 1/1 health
2. Someone casts Watchful Spirit on char, and that gives +50hp if the enchantment is stripped.
3. Char switches to -1 vampiric weapon. Only has +1 health regen.
4. Char casts Contemplation on self, kills the enchantment.
5. Char gets +50hp, but the max health is 1, so the char's health stays at 1.
6. Vampiric weapon still does -1 health degen.
7. Char drops dead.

Whoo hoo! I'd pay 2-5k to get power leveled 7 levels. However: it only works when I'm with you and doing something (healing you, attacking monsters, etc).
Oh, and I don't know if I mentioned this before or not, but when someone has 1 health and casts infuse health or tries to sac health, it does nothing. Infuse health gives 0 health to the other ally, and keeps the char's health at 1/1. I wonder if Illusion of Weakness would do the same thing...
