Default Ritualist Create Creature Skills

I have looked around but I can't seem to figure out what the Ritualist uses to create creatures. Is this environment based? Check out the first video in the link below... I am not referring to spirits. Can anyone identify these large green allies? Sorry, if I have misled anyone if they indeed have nothing to do with the Ritualist.

From the preview event, the Ritualist just summons the creatures (think Ranger Spirits).

They appear near the Ritualist, and cannot move (although most do attack and have special abilities).

Thanks Mordakai... I'm not sure what I was looking at in the videos then. It appeared that there were large green creature allies running around that were being summoned/created (I assumed that they were from the ritualist). Also some of their skill descriptions seem to differentiate between spirits and creatures.

Green? That's odd. Ritualists spirits are blue, and Necro's minions aren't green, are they? Did they look like Necro minions? One vid I saw had some new looking Minions, I assumed one was a Flesh Golem, the new Necro Elite summon.

This green "creature" appears to be the focus of the first video. Interestingly, the large creature (first) and minion (second) seem to be created from the same source.

They're monsters, special monsters but still just monsters. Not summonables.

you know what I have to say to some of you pvp people. The game will have to change if anet wants to stay a float. the dragon idea is what the game needs. the pvp games will be different and it will change.

The creature's most likely some sort of NPC ally (possibly available to whoever has control of certain maps?), as you'll notice that when the player clicked on it, a speech bubble appeared over its head (nearly off the top of the screen).

Pets, spirits, and minions don't talk. NPCs do.

Monsters can be allied, too. See Sanctum Cay for an example of this.

I have talk alot pvp players they are not going to like that too. lol me personly I am glade for the change. For this game to get better it needs to have umber weapons. Any cool factor to add to the gamewill make the pve side fun. Also it will bring in new types of pvp players, just not to one old style.

The pvp will change as there is more games sold.

I would love to see a pvp style where there is mounts as well as foot men for exmaple.

The ones that say "creatures" also apply to necro minions and ranger pets, if you're a Rt/N or a R/Rt or whatever.

That might be. However, the ones I am reading state "whenever you create a creature." You would never "create" a pet, and minion skills have never used the term "create" either. Maybe I am reaching...

Ex. "For 15...51 seconds, whenever you create a creature, up to 5 foes near that creature are struck for 20...56 lightning damage." (Explosive Growth)

Yeah, I agree, I don't think the Spawing Primary Attribute effects Pets (if someone has tested this, please speak up!).

Minions are definately created, though. Spawning works on Minions, and so skills like "Explosive Growth" should also.

It goes on to say animated creatures are buffed in one description - and well a pet is a moving creature Just funny it'd be quite a turn around from CGW which specificially mentioned a Ranger's Pet and not minions. Now lately its been looking minions but not a Ranger's Pet.

A shame, I had thoughts for a Ri/R beastmaster with an outrageously health pet and being a spirit master to boot (as the attribute line and slots allowed)

Oh, I haven't ruled out a Rt/Ra yet. How do you think QZ or SQ would work for recharging those long Spirit recharge times?

But Rt/N is tempting, too. I can't decide!
