Pick a word that you like, then type it into Altavista Babelfish translator and set it to "From English to French". I think french words are pretty good for mesmer character names. All my chars are "Tuba ______ " with the last name being the word "player" in different languages.

It's spelled "Costanza." But yeah, odds are a seinfeld reference would be good, hmmm... wonder if "serenity now" is taken...

Dorian Gray
If you'd like a source for it, its from the movie League of Extrodinary Gentlemen.
Gray was the immortal aristocrat who never aged because of an enchantment placed on a portrait of his. The portrait's picture aged instead of him.

Michael Flatley has to be the best Male mesmer name.
For a female...hm.....something with "Lady" or "Countess", cuz they look so regal.

If you like puns ... Guy Of Frustration.
I'd suggest Bester from Babylon 5 (you know, the Psi Cop). But Al Bester and Alfred Bester are all taken. And my GF's male mesmer is named Agent Bester.

Franz Anton of Iznang
Ok it`s not from TV/Movies. It`s from Franz Anton Mesmer who discovered what he called animal magnetism and others often called mesmerism. Iznang is the village he was from.

When I can't think of a name, I call my characters Jean-Eric Nom. Read it out loud with a French accent.
